Doesn't Emo Boy Prime need to project energy for Thor to absorb it, though? His magic resist really is ridiculous, the way he shrugged off Mordru's attacks, a character that could stand against a Skyfather..
But I hate EBP, and Thor does have some decent upsets. I'll say it's a 4/6 split in SBP's favor..
I wouldn't be surprised if some writers felt that way but it's never been explicitly said or shown that I can think off but we've seen Thor just straight out drain the energy out of things before. And people, for example:

Now you're getting it. It's quite similar to how Thor can open a portal into the heart of a Red Star to use against Prime.
Thor tries to... oops, Prime just used his speed and strength advantages to KO Thor.
Well, Thor can... oops, Prime just used his speed and strength advantages to KO Thor.
So Thor will just... oops, Prime just used his speed and strength advantages to KO Thor.
If that's the case then Thor is gonna... oops, Prime just used his speed and strength advantages to KO Thor.

PIS/CIS/writer armor OFF, imagine what it feels like to be speedblitzed by a being that's strong enough to do this :
For comparison sake, this was the Celestial assault vs Thanos during the IG saga :
Nothing short of a Skyfather would survive a PIS/CIS/Writer Armor OFF speedblitz from SBP.
Considering Prime has consistently had issues trying to KO or kill Conner (multiple times) and couldn't even put down the abortion of Sodam Yat until after a prolonged fight, I don't think Thor is going to easily be handled by Prime.
And yeaaaaah...Prime didn't display anything remotely close to multi-planet towing strength since his return to comics in Infinite Crisis. And even if you think he retained that level of strength (I'd be curious as to why anyone would), he didn't display it in combat. At all.

CIS isn't off for Prime. The guy rarely if ever holds back so why should I even mention CIS in the same sentence with the character.
Clarify for us, Carver:
Per this thread, Prime is acting normally under forum conditions, right? And Thor is pretty much going to do anything and everything in his power set, regardless of it being in character?
Or did you mean something else?

Prime never towed the multi-planets, but he has rearranged planets across the universe so fast people didn't even notice what happened until he was done, so I think he didn't really lose any strength at all since his pre-crisis days.

This. Anything different than this, the fight would be lopsided imo.

That's why I said PIS/CIS/Writer Armor OFF. Any being strong enough to replicate a feat performed by TWO CELESTIALS should phucking wreck any sub skyfather with a speedblitz.
Even with all that off, Prime wasn't displayed with the strength needed go casually tow a row of planets ala Pre-Crisis days. Even if you stick with the whole "well, he's from the Pre-Crisis continuity so his feats still count" idea, it's very clear that under Johns and the others who handled him, he wasn't displayed with that kind of strength nor was he packing that kind of power when he fought the heroes of the DCU.

I figured as much.
That's great that Prime has at least planetary strength, but in the context of fights, it amounts to jack all. He's got plenty of feats he displayed in actual combat setting to gauge how strong he is and how formidable. To that end, he certainly is physically above Thor but nearly to the degree where he'd have an easy time with him, especially given the OP.
