That is true. However, we have no case that I am aware of in which it was tried on Revan and was successful. I.e. Sidious did try it on Mace and his three companions but did not try it on Yoda. Evidently he felt different about them.
If Sidious was to perform the attack on Revan, I see nothing that would indicate that he would be successful in taking down Revan as quickly as he did Mace three companions. To assume that it would work would mean that Revan’s mastery of the force is less than that of Mace, Dooku, Anakin, and Obi-Wan and on the same level as the three companions who accompanied Mace.

I do not know. You do? There is one thing I do know is that Malak is a war veteran who has much more experience in fighting Jedi and Sith. Unless Sidious fought in life and death situations in multiple wars like Malak did, I am going to have to give the light saber experience to Malak.

No, but since Revan has never been defeated in Single combat with a Saber that I am aware of, has only been defeated by the Sith Emperor, and has fought in multiple wars, and defeated powerful skilled force users, I believe it is a good assumption to believe that he would last in a battle against Sidious.

Sidious can be the most powerful follower of Sith philosophy in history. A dark side practitioner is not necessarily a follower of Sith philosophy and Vitiate certainly isn't.
