The major problem there is making the public care about GL after the last movie. They could do that either with a knockout role in JLA or a new movie franchise. The former would likely be easier. (eventhough I still think they should do Green lantern Corps instead of a single lantern based movie)
Yup. That's why having a JL movie first isn't so bad. The same could be said with a new Hulk movie. The first one didn't do so well at the box office, yet, he totally stole the show in the AVENGERS and if a sequel were to happen it would likely do better at the BO.

You can do that with one character, especially when a solo movie has been attempted in the past. But you can't do that for like 3-5 Leaguers who the majority of the GA will be pretty unfamiliar with.

They won't have to, since some have already had solo movies. GL, Batman, Superman, etc... Some of the leaguers won't have solo movies. I'm thinking MM or Cyborg. So, make WW and Aquaman shine. That would be good enough, IMO.

Avengers? Every character had at least one really cool moment in it that stood out.
Yes, but they all had Origin movies first establishing their powers, background and characters.
This movie is going to have to explain the damn powerset and origin for all of them.
This seems more like a Spider-Man 3 waiting to happen.

Not ALL of them. We all know Batman's origin. They just did a Superman origin and GL.

DC doesn't have to explain anything, they can just show each characters powers. The solo movies will come later to explain the powers and their origin.
They don't REALLY need to do the origins, tbh. Not in JL. At least, not in any huge detail.
If they take the route Johns took with JL's opening arc with Darkseid, then they could have the team come together, explain a bit about them, but not go overboard on origins, hopefully saving them for solo movies.
then they can really dig deep. It's not how i'd do it, but it is doable, I think.
Four of the Avengers had a solo movie beforehand; two others got introduced as background or supporting characters in those films (Black Widow and Hawkeye), and Nick Fury made four appearances before Avengers. It was a very efficient and effective buildup to it.
As opposed to how many other characters DC & Warners are going to make unsuspecting viewers swallow in just one more film, before Justice League?
Around the time the previous Justice League movie got aborted in 2008, I thought it was good enough strategy to make the film and then have spinoffs come from it. Then Iron Man came out and we got to see how a whole cinematic universe can get built. Now, I don't think it's the right strategy, and I wonder if DC & Warners are going ahead with it anyway because (A) they are impatient to catch up with Marvel's franchise success, that studios everywhere are starting to imitate, and (B) they don't want to be seen like they are copying their great rival.
I have a bad feeling about this...

Doesn't mean it can't work. Also, don't assume that all the members will be in the first movie. It's all about how you space it out.

Spacing it out means making more movies than just the one more, before JL. At least, I would have it be at least two; the next one about Supes & Bats, the next one about the trinity (Supes, Bats & Diana), then the last one involving the biggest threat and the rest of the JL.
