WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

Spacing it out means making more movies than just the one more, before JL. At least, I would have it be at least two; the next one about Supes & Bats, the next one about the trinity (Supes, Bats & Diana), then the last one involving the biggest threat and the rest of the JL.

That's what I'm saying. We don't know their format, yet. The first JL movie could be some sort of origin for the JL themselves.

Clark Kent needs a proper sequel to develop into a smarter, more experienced Superman before JL. Batman should be just a cameo, similar to Nick Fury in Iron Man.

He can do it in BVS as much as the sequel.

Hopefully

I'd honestly be VERY surprised if the movie didn't start off a fair bit later, with Superman doing his best to prove himself to Metropolis while working to become a better hero.

Well, he IS going up against probably the smartest man on the planet. Assuming Batman is a super genius in Snyder's films.

Not to mention many of their origins are rather easy to explain. Diana is a Demi-God, Arthur is a member of a super powered race called Atlanteans, and Flash was created in a science experiment.

Boom. Done.

You really don't see how silly that will seem all explained in the same movie?

Will have to see how much of a build up BvS gives (although a good enough build up will be at the expense of that film like TASM2). But otherwise JL seems like SM3 in the making so far.

Not ALL of them. We all know Batman's origin. They just did a Superman origin and GL.

It could work if the entire roster was Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern and Flash for the first movie.

Everyone already knows Batman's origin, and he will be reintroduced in BvS. WW will also be introduced in BvS (although that's really not the best way for her to make it to the big screen IMO). And then it just leaves the Flash to get a proper explanation in JL, with a little reminder of WW and GL.

Unfortunately we already know Cyborg will be in this, and looking at that and the rumors going around, Aquaman will also be in the roster(just like the new 52). That's just too many new and completely unrelated super powered beings to explain in 2 films Imho.

THIS is the main reason why Justice League after Dawn of Justice is a rush.

I'd honestly be amazed if they tried to do the origins of the other 4 in JL. That would be a really, really bad idea.

Except, I'm not saying they have to show their origins in JL. Just mention that Wonder Woman is a demigod, etc...

The GA will be fine with that. After all, not everyone who went to see the Avengers had seen all of the solo movies.

Fans who make it sound so simple, you wonder why it's been such a chore for DC & Warners to figure it out. You think it can be just like the animated show, where after two episodes they come together and are a team? It's not the same.

We are going from a world shown in Man Of Steel where nothing out of the ordinary happens, that the presence of a God-like being like Superman coming out of the closest (so to speak) was the biggest event in history, scary yet fascinating to the public.
We are going from that to now having to account for an advanced vigilante ring in Gotham, an Amazon princess from a mysterious Greek island, a super speedster, the presence of Atlantis and their powerful ruler, an intergalactic space cop...in just TWO more movies. Plus the big threat.

Too much, too soon, in my view.

Yeah but they were aware that there were previous movies that explains all that. So people were aware of all these characters having their own movies, whether they had seen them or not.

So they won't be like "Oh where did Thor & Loki come from" because they know they've missed some of the movies.

But if Avengers was exactly the same but only without a Captain America and Thor movie, then yeah people wouldn't just accept that.

And I seriously doubt they would accept a one liner saying- Oh yeah that girl is a demi-god. Well at least I don't think they would.

If JL is the first appearance of at least some of these people, then I don't see why it wouldn't work.

It can be done wrong, sure, but it can be done right too, imo.

Cyborg won't be until the JL. Victor will be in BVS. He'll have a brief origin and build up to the JL, which is fine.

I don't think WB is going to screw this up. They're depending on this franchise to work and are attached to some of the best writers in Hollywood. If WB thought this couldn't work, we wouldn't be getting a JL movie in the first place and they CONFIRMED a JL movie way before it will be released. They have to be confident in something. Whether that's the script to the movie or director.

I think it will work.

that sequel won't be until Man of Steel 3 lol.. In this film he'll barely be in it. lol.. There was a rumor a long time ago that Batman was going to their version of Nick Fury however that rumor seems false now..

you are giving the general audience waaay too much credit. not everyone reads comic books, they will certainly be aware of Wonder Woman, Flash, Cyborg etc however they will not accept how these people are coming out of the woodwork with these unexplained powers..

WB must give them the proper time and i don't mean one or two lines let alone 5 or 10 minutes ..
