Exactly.

Then we would have all been calling them really smart. Just wish they would think before they act sometimes.

don't worry they could always move again 😆 😆 😄

does anyone think one of the dates WB allotted could be for Justice League Dark??

First of all, it's WB, not DC.

They shouldn't have picked the date in the first place, sure, but that doesn't mean moving is a bad decision.

It will make them more money. FACT. How is that NOT a good decision?

they should have chosen march in the first place though. Stupid WB...

Stop the presses and hire the strippers , we agree on something 🙂

They didn't have all their deals worked out before that, which is why it was delayed in the first place.

Zack Snyder defends Aquaman!

IMO that doesn't give me any reassurance Aquaman will be good character.
He is basically saying "Dont worry about aquamans silly exotic powers", he is going to be pretty much a strong brick similar to superman.

I think instead of focusing on making Aquaman "water superman" they could be smart and showcase aquamans exotic powers and make them seem cool on the big screen.

But what we seem to be getting is superman, water superman, and another strong brick in wonder woman (female superman). not much diversity.

Time will tell, I guess. Dan Fellman stated that they will release the future titles later this month.

Just in time for my birthday. 😎

I wonder who is going to put out their aquatic hero first, DC or Marvel? Does Marvel Studios have the rights to Namor? Or is that packaged in with the FF and Fox? It would be a big win for DC imo, if they got Aquaman out in the movies before Marvel gets Namor....well, as long as it's a good movie.

I would actually love to see Namor in action, with his volatile ways. And Aquaman (as long as he doesn't have his jazz hand, lol) too.

Nah, Namor is owned by Fox. I never liked Namor anyways. He was always sort of a dick.

That sucks....

Disney just needs to approach Fox and give them "an offer they can't refuse" ......FFS just make it happen Disney! Imagine the FF, Doom, Annihilus and Namor all in the Marvel Cinematic Universe! (sigh, hopefully, one day we will see it)....

Namor's screen rights are currently controlled by Legendary & Universal.

Is DC rushing things by grabbing a bunch of release dates with no scripts or directors attached?

I don't think Namor's owned by Fox or Marvel. Last I heard the rights were with Universal or something.

I think Namor would translate pretty well onto the big screen. Especially amongst other superheroes. He'd have the Thor type dialogue but be kicking off with everyone.

How do we know DC don't have scripts or anything?

Just haters hatin'. I mean the Rock has been teasing us for over 8 months about his upcoming DC role.

The article has a point. It wasn't long ago that Goyer was interviewed and had no idea what WB was planning beyond BvS: DoJ and their tv properties. Even if a movie is announced, the director is chosen, and the script is written, it could still be delayed. Ant-Man was originally supposed to come out in Phase 1, but that didn't happen.

Same with Justice League Dark by Del Toro and Joseph Gordan Levitt with Sandman. They've been working on these for several months.

What exotic powers? Telepathy? Because that's all he has other than physical stats.

They should showcase his strength as much as anything else, imo.

the same goyer that talked about characters like martian manhunter like they were shit? I don't trust a word that guy says, tbh.

Goyer was covering it up, that's how it works. Less then a year ago some big wig at WB said there was no plans for a Shazam film.......and here we are with the Rock giving massive hints he's playing Captain Marvel or possibly Black Adam.

There's no confirmation JL Dark is being worked on. As far as I'm aware that project is on hold.

Even if Rock was just teasing us with Shazam, he's clearly involved in something. And whatever it is I'm guess will fit in the 2016 slot after B v S, since Rock said his project will be officially announced soon, and a project due in 2016 really should be announced soon.

Except Del Toro isn't working on anything but making the Pacific Rim sequel, due out in early April 2017. So Justice League Dark is a project that never got beyond discussion at this point, just like Sgt. Rock, Lobo and Doom Patrol.

And they wonder why we think they have no organized plan at DC/Warners. 🙄
