WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

I honestly dunno if Whedon would do it well. He might, but I wouldn't say it's a sure thing.

Hopefully whoever makes these movies, regardless of colour/gender, does the right job.

If only they could get Joss Whedon (a male) back for the project. That would be an Awesome movie and guaranteed Box office beast..

Why NOT look for a female? Just because WB is looking for a female, doesn't mean they aren't looking for both male OR female. Nobody knows what's going on behind the doors, brah.

Nothing's ever a sure thing, but Whedon has the right intangibles to own the WW movie. Too bad it won't happen...

iirc, he wanted to cast Buffy for the role, so I would have to wait and see, personally.

I think WW would be better if done by someone that could handle a movie with very strong ties to mythology.

Whedon wanted to cast either Evangeline Lilly or Cobie Smulders.Those are the two suggestions whedon gave the producers.

I've been hearing his WW pitch was horrible. And this is from WW fans.

It was several years ago, before the WW pilot iirc, but I distinctly remember SMG being mentioned as one of his top choices.

Not saying it's true, just that it's what I heard.

That said, I wouldn't have liked Lily at all, tbh. Nor do I think Whedon is necessarily a sure thing.

I would respectfully disagree with you.Knowing all of whedon's work inside out, I think he's brilliant and perfect for WW.

Maybe, maybe not. Either way, it wouldn't have surprised kme.

I've watched a lot of Whedon's work myself, and I just can't believe he's some sort of sure thing.

Yeah, not sure why people think Whedon is such a great choice for Wonder Woman. Is it really just because he did Buffy? My problem is Whedon's best skill is his snappy dialogue which, frankly, does not suit Wonder Woman at all.

Whedon works best with ensambles, thats where he REALLY shines.

WB didn't officially stress anything. Those are what the rumors are implying. Maybe, it's because one of the female directors they have in mind has a vision they like. Anything is possible.

Also, the rumors that WB releasing a Batman V Superman trailer in front of Hobbit might actually be true. IMAX supposedly tweeted that there will be one, but took down the tweet pretty fast.
