Can she even act? Harley Quinn is one of only a few DC characters I truly care for. This looks like a Blake Lively casting.

Zack Snyder said more obscure characters on the way.

Remember back in August when Batman V Superman director Zack Snyder called in at a local radio station to defend Aquaman and even drop a few character hints? Well now he's back at that same radio station to drop another hint, this time about the future of the Justice League. At the 7:35 mark Zack Snyder mentions, "As we add to the justice League we bring in some of the more obscure, like Blue Beetle or something". The DC universe is just starting, but it's never bad to think about the future. Could this mean that characters like the Blue Beetle, Martian Manhunter, Booster Gold, and Hawkgirl have a spot for them sometime in Justice League 2 or 3?
Rumors from Bleeding Cool suggest the first Wonder Woman movie will be set in 1920, the second in World War II, and the third in modern day.

Why not? Diana more than once has been written to be incredibly long-lived, and if they were planning to use Steve Trevor, they could have him as being in the past pretty easily.
well i just can;t see this film being set so early on especially since they are gonna tell us about her in Batman v. Superman.. Besides those of us that remember the lynda carter tv show know that they had Diana in those times already. Also since when do these comic book films actually have their stories set page for page, word for word etc...
Let the hate, stupidity and ignorance commence.. Chris Nolan says "NEVER SAY NEVER" to returning back to do another comic book film ...

I would be happy if he were to tackle another DC project, but I doubt it will happen. He even stated in the very link that he finds it hard to return to the genre.
I kind of like the idea of a Wonder Woman exploring different time periods of humanity. The only disadvantage with that is it will remove her inexperience of coming into contact with humanity when she first joins the Justice League.
Also, Gemma Atkinson would be a good nominee for Power Girl. She's 29, 5'9", loves working out, has been acting since 2001, and was nominated for the British Soap Award for Best Young Performance. She probably could've made a good Wonder Woman, too.

Sounds like her online dating profile

which is why he also says never say never... WB already listened to him when he said to give the job to Snyder and Affleck. They know the man knows what he is doing so do not be at surprised if he returns. Afterall only the Justice League 2 parter, and Suicide Squad have people attached to them..

It's always possible, but unlikely.
