WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

Interesting find. I wonder if Terrio is using this as an inspiration for BVS.

Terrio's brief review of Earth One Batman

"Geoff Johns and Gary Frank's BATMAN: EARTH ONE VOL. 2 reminds us of Batman's place not only in the pantheon of superheroes, but in the pantheon of all American literary characters. Their graphic novel renders Batman as novel-of-education; hard-boiled procedural; revenge tale and love story, metaphysics and myth. It's a hell of a read."

Good point. Signing him for the role meant more than just him playing the role. Its keeping the door open to also have the Oscar winning director in the fold to possibly direct for them again. That one atleast makes alot of business sense.

well at least if he fracks him bruce/batman, then he certainly can't frack up the director's chair...

Yeah... That and he REALLY wants to play Batman. Like, crazy wants to.

he seeks redemption for the crapfest called daredevil

I just think that she deserves the benefit of the doubt.

Not like ****ing Momoa.

Why does Gadot deserve the benefit of the doubt over Momoa?

Affleck was apprehensive at first, but Snyder changed his mind by showing him everything that was planned. Snyder must be Bill Clinton's cousin to persuade him like that.

Because as far as we know, they're not making huge changes to the character to suit the actor they hired for Wonder Woman like they are with Momoa.

I don't think it was hard to convince Affleck, tbh. Sure, he might have been somewhat apprehensive, but Kevin Smith himself said that Batman is Affleck's dream role.

They haven't really given us anything on Aquaman other than a promo picture of him. I know Momoa has said a lot about his culture applied to Aquaman, but his words are basically heresay and nothing official has been stated.

Why would he say those things unless he'd been told that was the plan for the character?

To **** with fans. Five bucks says he's not even involved with DC, just an expert troll.

I Didn't actually mind Daredevil. Kind of liked it tbh despite the cheesy moments. But not seen the Director's cut.

My issue with Affleck however was his "tortured" voiceover when he's dictating the story. That only added to the campiness of that movie Imo. So I really hope his "tortured" superhero voice has improved massively since then.

Probably because Momoa seemed to be more excited playing a super hero rather than being excited to embody him. We can't know what WB is going to do unless we get an official description. There were assumptions that the Amazon's would be Kryptonian descendants due to Kara's empty pod and Man of Steel's hyper serious tone, but that was wrong.

Same here. People need to stop hating that movie. Seems like a classic example of pointless internet hate, tbh.

Heard that the director's cut was actually very decent.

It'll make around 1.4 B. Definitely not bad, but nowhere near domestic number or attendance.

It's already made over 1.3 B, and still not out in Japan, and will continue to draw money world wide for the next month.

So you still betting on that 1.4B mark? Because at this point I would say it's going to streamroll past that point and get to the 1.5B+ mark just like the original.

It has around 18 weeks to go, but it has already made most of its money. Furious 7 won the year and will overtake Avengers 1 for 3rd of all time. It'll be a crawl, but it's going to do it.

Shame.

However, a bit early to say F7 won the year. A little movie called Star Wars is releasing in December. (Unless by year you mean which movie makes the most in 2015, which is stupid, rather than which 2015 movies makes the most.)

I doubt it. 200 million is a ton of money. And AoU is running out of gas.

If they make Aquaman Arthur Curry, don't use any Polynesian stuff, and basically only change his race, I will personally paypal 5 euro/dollars to both of you.

Furious 7 won the year

I still reckon it's too early to state that as a fact (even excluding Star Wars). Avengers can still surpass it. Has less than 200mill WW to go and markets to still open in.

Which other markets are left? Japan only does so much box office wise and it's still possible that the movie will make a little less than 1.4. But Disney will probably fudge the numbers past 1.4. It's not making 1.5.

Really? What was Furious 7 on after 1 month?

It'll likely make more than 1.4 but it's unlikely to pass 1.5.

Strange, so why does Comicbook.com seem to think it will pass Furious 7 and even Avengers by the time it's released in Japan?:
