Because that source seems very reliable... Japan will probably net it around 45 (that's fairly optimistic IMO) but the rest of the world is slowing down considerably. It made 35 mill OS last week so it's going to need to do far better if it wants to cross 1.5.

Japan will probably do around 45. Still not enough to pass Furious 7. Remember, AOU has IM 3 legs, which weren't all that good. It's dropping OS as well. 1.4 is still a MASSIVE number, but not enough for F7.

They also said Snyder could be that guy. We'll just have to wait and see if that's true or not. If all the directors that are hired on can work together, which in turn work out for the best.

They were hesitantly questioning if Snyder could be that guy. But they all unanimously agreed that they definitely need a guy like Feige.
The scoop guy didn't agree, but I personally think Geoff Johns would be great.

Whether they need a Fieg or not is up in the air. I'm not too worried, however, i just want the movies to be good that have a director driven movie.
Another thing, supposedly Marvel won't show up to Comic-Con is because WB will have a huge presence.
According to multiple sourcing here in Los Angeles and through my connections at San Diego Comic Con (FYI, I'm an event planner who throws a hot party every year at SDCC), the real reason is that Marvel felt it couldn't compete with the upcoming DC panel from Warner Brothers.
Rumor has it, Ben, Will, and Henry will show up. Plus, a few surprises.

Yeah, because he knows the characters and is a good story guy.
Feige doesn't actually write the scripts or direct the films. But he's in charge of the overall story direction of the MCU.
But those guys made some good points that Johns might not be able to deal with movie politics.

That's what we all want. But to put out film after film after film, and have them ALL be good, in one cohesive Universe, a Feige type guy definitely helps.
Even though Marvel had a Fieg, it didn't stop them from producing crappy movies. It's all opinion, of course, but many of Marvel movies are average at best, with average ratings.
It might be a good thing for each director to do their own thing and not have one overall direction.
BTW, you yourself said you hated Iron Man 2 and 3. Fieg isn't PERFECT.
Unpopular opinion time: DC would be better off without a "Feige".
You don't need an "overall" sorry for the DCverse. Just do what they do in the comics and have each superhero doing their own thing and then get them together for the team films. In fact, I think this would be better as films wouldn't wast time preparing and advertising upcoming films (although I am fine with stingers at the end to drum up excitement). Sadly, I doubt this will happen.
