WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

I posted the doomsday rumor a long time ago in one of my spoiler posts.
Don't feel like looking for the post right now. But it said that Luthor will make doomsday out of Zod's body or genetic material.
Sounded kinda dumb tbh.

If true it would be another over the top , slug fest that levels a city.

Highly doubt it. What happened in MOS is what is causing all the negative emotions toward Superman.

Luthor creating something as a threat to Batman and Superman just makes sense, since it has happened so many times in the comics. Or something similar to it.

So PUMPED for Comic-Con. 😱

Green Lantern news:

Keep in mind that the movie is still in early development and a lot of things can change, but we’re hearing that the new Green Lantern movie will focus on more than one human Green Lantern. There are plenty of “Green Lanterns” across the universe, as they’re an intergalactic police force who wield powerful rings whose energy is derived from their user’s willpower. Their only weakness is the yellow energy of fear.

The most popular Green Lantern (changed to avoid redundancy from prior paragraph) is Hal Jordan, who was the main character in the 2011 movie. However, Guy Gardner and John Stewart later followed Jordan, and they weren’t the last in the comics. But we’re hearing possibly two or all three—Jordan, Stewart, and Gardner—could be the leads of Warner Bros’ Green Lantern reboot.

Furthermore, the franchise will continue to focus on different Green Lanterns and never on just one, so really the Green Lantern movies look like they’ll be more about the Green Lantern Corps, which is an interesting approach.

But before we get there, the plan is just to focus on these two or three human Green Lanterns, and there’s a real possibility that Warner Bros. will introduce the Green Lanterns at Comic-Con this year at their panel in Hall H on Saturday. And if WB does bring on multiple Green Lanterns, then presumably one or more of them will pop up in Justice League.

Read below to learn a bit more about the triumvirate of Green Lanterns that might lead the reboot.

This should have been done beforehand, IMO.

If they really had to go that route, then Metallo would have been much more appropriate IMO.

I mean how exactly is Batman going to be any help against Doomsday?

Plus they shouldn't just start off shooting out all their Biggest Players (I'm guessing the villain will be Darkseid in JL parts 1 and 2).

I like the focus being on the Green Lantern Core. Not sure how I feel about 3 Human Lanterns all being the main leads.

Meh, I hate Metallo and most of Superman's C list villains. I'm all for Doomsday, but I don't think Snyder is going to use him exactly like the comics, so it's best to wait and see what the context is in all of this.

As for Batman, he probably has resources/tech, but like I said, it might not be the DD we all know from the comics.

you have to have Guy, John, and Kyle/Hal. Those are the most loved/popular of the lanterns.

Alot of stuff wb/dc has been doing is pretty predictable. So them going with the obvious generic Darkseid route seems likely.

Along with an after credit tease.

Who would you choose? Darkseid is one of DC's best JLA villains, so it's only natural they go with him. It's not like Marvel is using obscure villains, either.

Rumor has it, Snyder might use

Spoiler:
brainiac

Thats a good choice.

That's the point though. This film should be about Batman V Superman. If they want them teaming up at the end against some big threat, it SHOULD be a C list villain IMO.

I'm all for Doomsday,

Why? This is only the 2nd movie in the DCCU and you want them firing away with the biggest villains right off the bat? And in a movie where the Villain's sole purpose is just to team up the heroes?

That makes no sense to me at all.

Well yeah if he's in BvS, he's obviously going to be used in a very different way.

Resources/Tech shouldn't help against Doomsday.

Those things could help against Metallo or Power Suit Lex.

I'm just not happy with the route they're going if this rumor is true.

Who cares if the villain is a C list villain or not.

Exactly. You can't make a whole cinematic Universe, and just avoid all the B/C list villains.

Besides, just like the C List heroes, you never know which one of them might become super popular on the big screen.

That too, No one knew who the hell the Guardians of the Galaxy were before the movie got made

to me feels like Marvel has the balls to introduce the more lesser villains/Heroes to the big screen

And DC/WB would rather stick to the more well known characters, Like where's Martian Manhunter?....seems they aren't confidant in bringing him to the big screen.

Manjobbing. Always 🙂

Uhhh, let's not forget WB is doing a SUICIDE SQUAD movie who are aren't well known at all for the exception of Harley.

I never said I hate C list villains, I said i hate Superman c list villains. I'm all for using obscure characters.

Marvel hardly ever uses obscure villains. Who is caps most famous villain? Red Skull. Who is Thor most famous villain? loki. Who is Hulk most famous villain? Abomination. Who is Marvel's most famous AI? Ultron. Etc...

Nice. That's almost exactly what I said they should do. Just name the movie Green Lantern Corps.

Oh please do copied the whole cinematic universe from marvel as they didn't have the vision marvel did. That's kind of embarrassing.
