The main villain (besides Luthor) is a threat likely requiring Supes to get help & I think it's leading to a JL plot needing more heroes.

I mean I understand leaving GL now until JL, since he's had a film which flopped and people are not likely to go watch another one until after JL now. And I understand reintroducing Batman in MOS2 without further solo films for now, since the character has had more than enough solo films even if they are in a different continuity.
But they should should seriously give The Flash or Wonder Woman a go before they jump straight in. So yeah I hope the rumor's false. I prefer the original rumors of Batman vs Superman in 2015, The Flash in 2016 then JL in 2017. You could always fit in a solo WW film to that in 2016 with The Flash or 2017 right before JL.

I disagree. They shouldn't follow Marvel's path, but create their own. Even this article points out some good logic.

His entire article is based on the premise that WB is doing this because they want to make an amazing superhero movie rather than just rushing to make a quick buck.
Until we're sure that WB ISN'T doing just that to try to grab some of Marvel's success, it's still going to feel rushed to me.
At least, if Superman 2 is good, we'll have three of the core leaguers sorted, so that will lessen some of the burden.

Everything is about money, though. Studio wants to make profit and since WB is the most profitable studio every year, this doesn't surprise me. However, I am going to remain positive that they will bring their A game. It's not necessary to pump out solo movies for everyone. At least, IMO.

Nor is anyone saying it's necessary to pump out solo movies for every Leaguer. Just more than one, would be nice.

Every studio doing superhero films are following Marvel's formula to an extent now because they know it works. Fox is copying them with X-Men DOFP, and later with X-Men and FF.
Sony is trying their best to copy that formula as best they can with just the one superhero franchise they have the rights to.
It's like when Star Wars first came out, how many franchises copied it in one way or another? It wasn't stupid to do that. Star Wars was simply great and changed cinema.
And it's not like Marvel even invented the idea of putting different solo franchises together. We've had things like Alien vs Predator and Jason vs Freddy in the past.
I'm not saying they should make a solo film for everyone on the roster, but still they should do at least 2 or 3. And if they can't make a success out of 3 solo superhero franchises, then I'd question if they're even ready for Justice League at all.

That's assuming WW has a large role in it. If she has a small role, then they should really do a solo movie for her before JL Imho.

Well it can do if they screw up Batman after him being so popular on the big screen over the last decade, and all the rumors of different Leaguers showing up doesn't inspire confidence either. Nor does the casting of WW.
But still, if they get this right, it will be Huge! These are the 2 biggest and most well known superheroes in the world. And Wonder Woman is the biggest female name in the superhero world.
