lol at quality when that doesn't mean a damn thing whether production is fast or slow.. again they just started filming so nothing was being rushed..

that is because Affleck does suck at acting.. btw nice dodge at not answering about Runner, Runner

It does. As of now, this is all speculation. Affleck doesn't suck, BTW.

So on one hand, we have Golgo being super, unbelievably positive.

On the other, we have Bruce being super, unbelievably negative.

Guess it's nice when things are being balanced out.

How am I being super positive? I'm actually annoyed the movie is being delayed. It IS a good thing that they moved it back to rework the script, which was probably trash in the first place. That is the very reason they hired Terrio.

Ok... More positive than the average?

There will always be some negative and hopefully positive sides to this type of thing.

There's nothing wrong with being positive or negative. Just have to be careful it doesn't become unrealistic.

This news gives me mixed bags. So, I'm not overly positive, but I'm not overly negative on it, either. If anything, I'm pretty annoyed by it. I mean I hope Batman vs Superman comes out in my lifetime. 😛

I'm worried, tbh.

I still feel like they're rushing things in an effort to catch up with Marvel, which I think is a mistake in and of itself.

I hope that Superman Batman knocks it out of the park; I reallt do. I don't want them to **** up a DC license and leave me waiting another 15 years for a reboot.

I mean, I'm already waiting on X-Men, and Marvel has already ****ed over Hank Pym. I'm running out of characters I like that I'll get to see on-screen.

If the rumors are true (Don't believe them until confirmed, BTW) they are just pushing it back, so they can film JL back to back, which is a good theory. Everything is all speculation as to why they moved it back, but I'm not too worried.

They just hired an Oscar caliber screen writer and supposedly Affleck will also have a hand in it too. I trust in them for the most part and was rooting for someone to polish up the script, which they did. I don't trust Snyder and Goyer together.

I don't believe rumours. I believe facts. I'm just waiting to see some actual facts about it, so I'm reserving judgement until then.

Just because someone is a great writer doesn't mean they'll be great superhero writers. Not everyone, even award winners, gets the genre and knows how best to write it. maybe he will, but i'm not going to assume either way.

I haven't trusted Goyer since Blade 3. I trust Snyder because he had Nolan keeping him grounded. Maybe now with Affleck, it will keep him grounded. At the very least, Snyder seems to have some real enthusiasm for the series.

I just don't want another mess like Green Lantern.

Green Lantern was an abomination (even though I enjoyed Strong as Sinestro), so if it IS a bomb like that, then I will leave this site forever. That's how confident I am about the final product. 😖hifty:

I'm 99% sure it won't be and that it will make tons of money to boost the JL film/franchise.

I'm not sure either way. I just have to cross my fingers and hope they don't let dollar signs get in the way of making actual good movies.

GL... It could have been so much better, but they ****ed it up so badly in places.

What do you think of the Rock as possible John Stewart?

As John, I don't really like it. With how roided up he is, he'd look far too massive next to the others, and I don't think it would sit well. I don't think he looks enough like John either.

I would have him as Martian Manhunter or Black Adam in a second, but as Stewart? Nah.

Besides, I want Hal Jordan.

Somebody put me onto the idea of Jensen Ackles as Hal and I can't get it out of my mind. That would be glorious.

What about Nathan Fillion as Hal?

he'd be awesome. Ackles in general is awesome. I would love to see him in a dc movie. or any comic book movie.

I think he's a bit too old, tbh. which is sad, as a few years ago, he would have been literally perfect for the role. Hell, Malcolm Reynolds is very like Hal Jordan anyway.

I agree it's WB's fault, but a separate studio isn't happening. So, you should stop thinking about it.

General Zod voice: NEVER!

then we gonna have to agree to disagree then...

its all good though .... as a batman fanatic i want to make sure he is going to be in good hands, no one really knows until the finish product is seen

this delay for whatever reason is bad. i hope in the coming days/weeks actual truth is known

if that were truly the case then WB needs to come out and say it.. oh and btw scripts do not take a year to re write, let alone to polish it

@Pr, what if Kyle was used instead of Hal and John 😄

I don't think delays are always bad, so I'm willing to wait and see.

My preference for Lanterns is: Hal > Guy > Kyle > John, personally.
