WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

Yeah, it a horrible choice. Don't get me wrong, Eisenberg is a talented actor but I can't see him portraying Luthor at all.

Welp, my enthusiasm for this movie has now tanked... lol.

What the hell is WRONG with them? Is the concept of choosing actors that inspire EXCITEMENT for the movie totally lost on them?

They could've have chosen Walter White and everyone would say it sucked too.

I'm expecting the sequel to tank now, regardless of whether or not it's a bad movie, but just because of a nationwide circlejerk.

So why do you the movie is infallible?

That strawman escalated quickly. Though that sounded intentional.

Nah, saying "waaaah no matter what actor is cast people will hate the movie waaah" is a strawman.

Why do you think that WB's horrible casting choices shouldn't be criticized?

Did you spend all this time looking what a strawman is? Cause you butchered it. Google it again.

Eisenberg I think is an awful choice. The overall point is people like you are prone to sucking each other's dicks to the point where every decision is horrible. It gets annoying to read page after page of cock sucking. That's all I meant. You getting visibly annoyed that I'm not sucking your dick just shows how bad it's gotten.

It's surprising, but I find it interesting. It's not the first time an actor in the same age range as the Superman actor has been cast; didn't everyone like Michael Rosenbaum as Lex on Smallville? I think they saw Jesse Eisenberg doing a darker version of his Mark Zuckerberg character as Lex. I can see the government turning to the smartest scientist in the country to find weaknesses in Superman, and the project becoming an obsession for him.

I'd also like to see Lex & Bruce Wayne having some business relationship, right out of Brian Azzarello's Luthor: Man Of Steel, which would put them on the same side against Superman early on.

WOW, I mean just WOW, jeez WB keep making fools of yourselves..

Jesse Eisenberg does in no way shape or form is a guy who can be threatening on the big screen...

Jeremy Irons should be very good as Alfred but Eisenberg facepalm facepalm

So you admit that WB has made awful casting choices.

Yet you're buttmad that people are complaining about those awful casting choices.

So basically, you're bitching just to *****. 👆

WOW! That came out of nowhere. I think Eisenberg can pull it off. He played a cold, calculated character in Social Network.

Never thought about Jeremy Irons, but he's an awesome actor and should pull off Alfred easily.

Only Eisenberg. The "s" you put after choice means plural. Since I only said Eisenberg sucked that's singular. Gadot is fine. Affleck is fine. Cavill is already good.

I'm annoyed over your cock sucking as I've said multiple times.

All your posts ***** about every fictional thing ever. "Wah Bleach sucks but let me make my avatar and signature about it." Do you, boo but don't be a hypocrite now.

Social Network? BTW, a lot of people never saw Heath as Joker, either.

What about Gal Gadot makes you think she's a good choice for Wonder Woman?

Cry about it.

lol

The difference between Ledger, who I was wrong about when he was cast, and Eisenberg is that Ledger already had a body of work that showed off his acting range. Everytime I have seen Eisenberg in something he has been a geeky young kid... no range. THAT'S the difference there.

As for the other castings, only Jeremy Irons seems solid. Gadot was cast as such an important character, not just in the comic book world, but for women of Earth. Here's Wonder Woman FINALLY being put on the big screen and it's going to a girl who will succumb to the weight being put on, not only her but, the entire production. I'm an Affleck fan so I will give them that one. Cavill was fine, not great just adequate.

If they don't put a script together that covers up the obvious defeciencies in this movie, this may go down as the Hindenberg of movies. Golgo, not even you, and your apparent bankroll from DC, can argue that.

But like I said, I am really rooting for this movie to make me eat my words. DC needs this to compete, they're just not able to due to the fact that they don't have their own studios like Marvel. I don't blame DC, I blame the movie studio.

Lol, nobody would say that

Just going to mirror what I said in the other thread:

There are some versions of Lex he fits pretty well, so I'm interested at the very least to see what they can do with it.

Jeremy Irons as Alfred though? Yes please.

For anyone that can't see him as Lex Luthor... Really?

not being snarky, but you need to see more of his work then.

I just don't see it at all. Are there film roles where he does embody Lex?

Jesse has been nominated for MULTIPLE awards, which includes the Oscars. He has a strong body of work.

Perhaps he will surprise me. But as of now I can't see Eisenberg being threatening or even mature enough for Lex.

Bull shit. I would be ecstatic.
