I'm pretty sure the movie studios care more about consensus opinion than your individual opinion. There's a reason avengers made a shitload of profit while a huge brand like superman made much less.
The Avengers is a COLLECTION of heroes that paid off big, Superman is just ONE hero that came off a BAD movie (Superman Returns) and not as popular anymore. Yet, still managed to get close to 700 M WW. Most of my friends hate Superman, but LOVED the movie. That says a lot. It also says a lot that MOS made more money than any Marvel film other than IM 3 and Avengers. It ranks 10th at the box office in the super hero genre. MOS was a success whether you like it or not.
Dude, that's the problem! We have NOTHING to cite!
Duude! Kevin T. is relatively NEW to the CEO gig! Of course he hasn't had much to say and on TOP of that, WB is just getting their cinematic universe going. You think he's just going to spill all the news? Did Kevin Fiege spill the beans about the first phase of IM right after the movie? It's not that hard to understand, bro.
. I know you will disagree with this, but MoS was underwhelming. It was the Zack Snyder show.
Of course I do as many people here. I didn't ask for your opinion, because it's all subjective.
Speaking of not saying much, having The Rock say he's in line for a role in a DC movie is not so much a bragging point. Sure, he's a box office draw, but he's not an actor.
Of course he's an actor and a GOOD one at that. He stole the show from Marc Wallberg in Pain And Gain. By the very definition, he's an actor. You might not like him, but he's an actor.

Superman is the most popular superhero brand. It had the momentum of numerous popular blockbuster movies and TV shows. Marvel's solo properties, prior to their movies, had little momentum or recognition whatsoever. Marvel actually developed their b-listers to financially surpass mega brands like supes and bats.
The way the cards were dealt, DC should have crushed Marvel. Saying supes did better than solo cap, Thor and iron man is laughable. Supes underperformed and didn't meet its potential. Cap, Thor and iron man over performed and exceeded their expectations.
Supes did really well at box office, but could have done amazing if it was actually good.

You said no one cares about the consensus opinion - when clearly the studios do. ?
Obviously, certain posters and, as you say, the studios do care. What I'm saying is on the question of whether or not the film is enjoyable to you all that matters is your opinion. Not the consensus.

Superman isn't the most popular. That title belongs to Batman, Spider-Man, and Iron Man. He was once the most popular amongst Captain Marvel and Batman, but times have changed.
He IS the most well known hero of them all, but not the most popular in terms of box office success.

We don't know their plans, so stop acting like you know. After BVS comes out and STILL no expansion on the DC cinematic universe, THEN you can talk. PROVE ME WRONG.
hahahahahaha thanks for the laughs RJ/QUAN ..
so predictable... i can act anyway I want.. its yourfriend Tsujihara that has to act properly and since all he is doing is talk tough it is HIM and HIM ALONE that needs to prove me wrong
hahahaha
While I agree that Tsujihara hasn't had enough time to do much, he hasn't really said what I want to hear. As previously stated, Iron Man gave me what I wanted to hear (wasn't expecting it) by mentioning Avengers. Man of Steel gave us some easter eggs, but we still don't have any OFFICIAL SOLO MOVIE ANNOUNCEMENTS for Justice League characters not named Superman or Batman.
Saying the Rock could play someone isn't doing it for me, neither are unspecific announcements for lower budget DC characters before unspecific announcements for Justice League ones (that Is backwards) or announcing Cw shows if their connection to Man of Steel is still being debated behind closed doors.
