That would be pretty cool. Knowing WB though I doubt it - they always find a way to screw up DC.

Get ready for Batman/Superman brokeback mountain.

So basically a Superman/Batman comic then?

@PR.

What do you want? The re-skinned transformers that MoS was?

I don't want a Smallville copy. That show, any time Lana was in it, did nothing but hurt the Superman mythos and public perception.

True, but I still think it's cause for concern. Adding this many characters this early is still a gamble.

I'm not too concerned, because we have seen Snyder handle a lot of characters and succeed. Watchmen was actually a fine film with many, many characters.

Besides, we shouldn't get too worried, because many of these characters are likely to be cameos only.

All I will say is I really hope Snyder sits down and watches Smallville because that's the best superman we have seen on television/cinema.

They didn't screw it up with MOS or the Dark Knight Trilogy.

I hope he's wrong. Superman not being one of the original JL members would be a major misstep.

Agreed I meant mostly the later seasons where they dealt with him being a Hero vs Super hero & with an established Batman that could be an amazing story to tell.

I just have no faith in Snyder working on the Script, he is a very Bay like director and I feel like this will end up Superman vs a whole crap ton of characters with little story and it ending with Bruce fighting a depowered Clark to a standstill. The fact Warner Bros. have no plans past Mos3/JLA for spin offs is kinda embarrassing when Disney has a plan for 12 more years, Fox has atleast 4 movies on the slate and Sony is at 3 possibly 4 if the Venom is true.

Too many cameos isn't a good thing either, imo.

I don't doubt that Snyder can handle an ensemble cast. He's done it before, like you said. What I'm speaking about is whether this is good for the DCU that they're trying to build. Too much too soon, etc.

Snyder isn't the head writer, though. He's the visuals guy, and that's where he excels. Even in his bad movies, the dude knows how to make things look amazing. He just needs a good script to ground him.

DC can't afford to make plans, imo. Not yet anyway.

I liked MOS, but I know it had faults. I'm just confident that they can improve.

Not sure, though, that too many new characters will help that.

You know Snyder is rewriting the script with his buddy, I just hope I don't walk away just counting plot holes again.

Nah, Chris Terrio is re writing the script. The same writer of Argo who won an Oscar for that.

Dude looks the part. He'll probably play Vic first.

he has no acting experience

him winning an oscar doesn't guarantee a damn thing

He has theater acting experience, though.

Never said it did.

I just hope its a step up from the movie breaking plot holes in MoS.

I wonder what they do with Diana because I'd say a majority don't know her Greek roots and may feel she is ripping off Thor/Sif.

I never thought the script for Argo was particularly unique. The movie itself was largely overrated and didn't deserve Best Movie honors. That said, the writing in MoS was abysmal so here's hoping for improvement.

Just finished watching Breaking Bad - I can't believe how damn perfect Bryan Cranston would have been for Lex Luthor. Aaron Paul could've played Lex Luther's henchman.

😬

MoS has some major problems but plot holes really aren't one of them. Sure, it had a couple but almost every blockbuster has a few.

I agree for the most part. Django should have won.

why did the Kryptonians have superpowers before being exposed to the earths atmosphere?

How did Lois survive in space and then re entry with no protection?

Who was the Large Kryptonian with Faora, we never see him again?

Why did Zod need to Terraform the planet?

Why did the phantom zone bomb stop them when Zods forces already know how to escape it.?

Those are just a few off the top of my head.

Sun rays.

Despite common believe people can survive in a vacuum for a minute or so. Also terminal velocity.

He was a grunt. Not seeing Kryptonian #31 again isn't a plot hole.

This is the only one that's a plot hole. And like I said all movies have them.

The ship was destroyed when it was sucked into the black hole....

The movie made a point to tell us that earths atmosphere gave Kryptonians their powers, it also made a point to tell us the Armor blocked out the atmosphere.

She was on fire screaming, and yet wasn't injured. She also fell from space to the lower atmosphere before superman got there

He's the only one who beat superman, its just odd to build him up and just not use him.
Ok.

It survived the first one though undamaged, but honestly the less said about that scene the better.

Whether he has the credentials or not, Terrio is certainly an upgrade from Goyer and Snyder.
