WB to announce Superman/Batman & JLA movies

Atmosphere and Sun (and weaker gravity IIRC).

I can't recall the scene in question TBH. Like I said, there were some major problems IMO so I haven't seen it since seeing it in theaters.

Perhaps.

That's because it wasn't a black hole. Jor-El explains it that the two drives interacted together and through magic pseudo-science created the black hole. I'll admit it's a pretty stupid plot point, but I wouldn't say it's a plot hole.

Jor El said the Atmosphere was more nutrient rich. Literally the only mention of sunlight was earlier when Jor El said the Earth had a younger Sun.

And? Superman's powers in the comics come from the sun. Most people know this so Jor-el's explanation doesn't have to be in depth. A mere reference is more than enough.

But Jor El expands on it in the ship/fortress, Zod & Fairs referenced it & the Kryptonian doctor also mentioned it.

I'm not saying it doesn't give them powers, it seems to be the reason for their super senses and potentially flight. However, the sun/gravity seems to be the reason for their super strength and speed. I mean, hell, we see Superman soak up the sun several times in the movie. Seems pretty clear it's tied to his powers in someway.

I just hope its a step up from the movie breaking plot holes in MoS.

there could be even more plotholes since this is terrio's first ever comic book script

You're just a ray of sunshine, aren't you Bruce. 😛

Again, I never said it did.

And no shit, stage acting is very different. It's more of a challenge than film acting. Many film stars don't translate well to stage and vice versa. However, you said he didn't have any ACTING experience, which isn't true.

I think you were right. Ben Affleck probably pissed in his cereal.

🤣

And it seem Jor-el does confirm the sun as the basis for some of Supes powers.

"Earth's sun is younger and brighter than Krypton's was. Your cells have drunk in its radiation, strengthening your muscles, your skin, your senses."

They might as well just call this movie The Justice League.

He probably won't be playing Cyborg off the bat, since it was semi confirmed that he won't have a huge roll.

I never thought the script for Argo was particularly unique. The movie itself was largely overrated and didn't deserve Best Movie honors. That said, the writing in MoS was abysmal so here's hoping for improvement.

Just finished watching Breaking Bad - I can't believe how damn perfect Bryan Cranston would have been for Lex Luthor. Aaron Paul could've played Lex Luther's henchman.

Who was the Large Kryptonian with Faora, we never see him again?

Nam-Ek

My guess is this movie will end up being Batman and the Justice League trying to bring Superman down for destroying Metropolis. All under the manipulation of Lex Luthor. They're just going to start off with a misunderstanding between an established JLA and Superman. Then they'll follow up with individual franchises which eventually leads back to another Justice League movie with new members/chracters introduced in between movies. They really should just start off with a JLA film anyways and don't every bother with an origin story at all. Then the individual movies would be where they can explore certain characters origins.

The thing is they should have at least some basics plans mapped out, go forth and get the crews necessary, have faith, be ballsy, and stay true to the characters. WB is holding back too much.

based on what? you not liking the casting?

Why, as a Batman fan, are you so put-off by it all?

He still doesn't have faith in Ben Affleck.
