Snyder's Twitter: "Could be time to pull the tarp...Tomorrow?"

Michael Wilkinson's (costume designer) tweet from yesterday: "Not long now...!! "Can't wait to see Batman&WonderWoman costumes, by our favorite designer, @wilkinson .Follow this guy!" #BatmanvsSuperman"

Take this with a grain of salt. Some one posted this on another site (that will remain nameless).

"I work in the industry. "Batman VS. Superman" has begun filming recently, and I've heard some things about it. Not much, though. Warner is keeping it all under wraps as much as possible.

Spoiler:
>It'll lead into "Justice League", as previously rumored.

>Warner wants the movies to be great. Part of the reason they delayed release to 2016 was to have more time to get the script as tight as possible, and to have a longer post-production so whichever reshoots and rewrites they might need can be done organically.

>Superman will be the central character of the DC Cinematic Universe, and the movies are meant to follow his journey into becoming an icon. The tone of the movie is supposed to be lighter, though still quite serious.

>Batman will be a veteran, and the movie is built on the contrast between their methods, ideologies, ages and years in action. In the end, they make each other better. That's supposed to lead in "Justice League", which they'll obviously headline.

>Wonder Woman is not a major character, and her function is to build up to "Justice League". She is an emissary from Themyscira. From what I'm hearing, the idea is that all of Earth's mythological deities (The greek gods, the egypitian gods, etc) were all one set of advanced aliens, the Old Gods. The main storyline of "Justice League" and its sequels and spin-offs are the New Gods and the Fourth World, and Wonder Woman has come to find a way to protect Earth from the "Great Evil" -- Darkseid.

>Aquaman was present in an early draft, as an antagonist. Atlantis would also be tied to the Old Gods, but Aquaman would believe Superman represents a threat and would be his enemy until they make amends and become allies. But this subplot was cut because it felt superfluous to the overall story.

>Victor Stone has a minor role. His father will be a supporting character in the movie as a S.T.A.R. Labs scientist.

>Tao Okamoto is playing an original character named Anna Hanzo. She is based on Lashina, but is an Amazon that worships Darkseid and is connected to Lex Luthor and the Intergang.

>Callan Mulvey is playing an original character named Ryan Grant. He's a reporter for the Daily Planet.

>Holly Hunter is playing an original character, Congresswoman Donna Cale.

>Jason Momoa was offered the role of Aquaman back when he was in the script. He impressed Warner enough they've now offered him the secondary villain, still kept under wraps. He's negotiating with them.

>The Intergant is involved. It's part of the reason Batman comes to Metropolis and gets into contact with Superman. Lex Luthor appears to be behind them, but this is still being kept under wraps.

>Warner is still deciding if they want to connect the movies to the TV shows "Arrow" and "The Flash". Right now, the script includes a reference to the explosion of Central City's S.T.A.R. Labs' particle accelerator, but that might very well be cut.

>They still don't have an official title. Everyone, even the production team, is calling it "Batman VS. Superman", but it is not the official title. The studio is still deciding what to call it.

>They're preparing a teaser to the shown with "The Hobbit" this year. But it's just a very small teaser, probably won't have much footage. It's just so people know the movie will happen.

That's what I know."

Interesting to say the least

Spoiler:
If this is true then what i been saying is coming true. Sadly 🙁
I'm not disusing comic continuity here only the movieverse, but WTF, the Diana origin is exactly what marvel used for Thor. Seriously word for word almost.
And is WB/DC doing a green lantern again? Darkseid? really? I guess they do think this is some sort of a race vs Marvel and they want to churn as much as possible as soon as possible. And let me guess, the Momoa secondary villain he will play will be Kalibak or orion.
Some things sounds good , but what i pointed out is just horrible IMO. (if true)

Making Wonder Woman an advanced alien is fine. It's not a unique idea or anything and is far better than any alternatives I can think of without tying her into actual mythology.

Disappointed that Mamoa isn't Aquaman (if the rumor is true). But he could be a cool Orion.

Honestly, I don't agree at all.

I think the idea sounds interesting, but It depends entirely on the execution.

Even if he is, he shouldn't be.

WW an alien, WTF bullshiite is that

A brief interview with Eisenberg.

http://schmoesknow.com/exclusive-interview-jesse-eisenberg-talks-to-the-schmoes-about-batman-vs-superman/22985/

Speaking to the Schmoes about the script for the still untitled sequel (BATMAN VS SUPERMAN), Mr. Eisenberg told the Schmoes he was very impressed with the script, saying it was a GREAT script; which ultimately led to him taking on the iconic role......Mr. Eisenberg will begin filming in exactly one month from now.

On the internet firestorm that followed after Jesse Eisenberg was cast, the Schmoes were able to get his take on the “controversy”. In a nutshell, Mr. Eisenberg stays far away from the internet and with it, the comments that take personal shots at the actor himself. He mentioned that he doesn’t care about what people say about him or his casting. He doesn’t read that kind of stuff instead, opting to focus on the character, the prep and the script only and not what people think of him.

I'm betting it will be good.

I know right. Next thing they will announce is that Flash has a twin sister, "the witch" Zatanna.

The whole alien thing probably isn't true. Just chill, people. 99% of the rumors are false.

Eh, i don't think it's that bad.

Spoiler:
New Gods being the aliens is an interesting twist, I think. And it's not like they're replacing the pantheons.

With dc I expect this kind of thing.

Why does Dc hate their own stories? God I hope that isn't true.

lolz

Having Zeus and shit be literal gods would't fit at all into the world that MoS presented. So WW being the descendant of advanced aliens sounds cool especially if it's tied into the New Gods. And it make sense.

How so? If aliens are running around, why not gods?

I could see wb/dc include this in the script;

- Clark: "Big man in a suit of armor. Take that off, what are you?
- Bruce: "Genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist"
