Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Why does anyone require a solo film? With a good enough writer none of them do. Superman? Doesn't need his own solo origin film. He's not a particularly complicated character, nor is his backstory- a good writer could flesh him out in an ensemble film quite well with just a few scenes focusing on his backstory and pathos.

The only reason any comic book character gets his own solo film is because they're famous enough that the producers think a solo film will sell. The only reason Warner Brothers isn't giving Diana a solo film is because they're too dumb to understand that a comic book movie with a female protag would sell so long as it was actually good, and they're tripping over themselves trying to catch up to the MCU.

Basically saying "I don't care if one of the most iconic characters in the entire DC universe is fleshed out" is fair, but then you should say the same about any other character then. If Wonder ****ing Woman can't have ten minutes explaining her origin than none of them should. Batman? "I'm a rich guy who fights crime." Flash? "I'm really fast." Cyborg? "I'm a minority lol." J'on? "I'm an alien." Green Arrow? "I'm Hawkeye."

I don't mind that line of thinking, so long as it's applied across the whole cast. I mean, the movie's probably gonna be ass anyway, so why not have a film centered around "characters" where none of the characters are 3-dimensional.

That the thing, I'd much rather the filmmakers take time fleshing out Wonder Woman's characterization then explaining how she has powers.

If shes hearld powerful she will not be accepted as well I believe. People I think adapt to the batman and captain America characters a lot due to the fact that they are more realistic and believable and they really like the hand to hand combat, rather then just eyebeaming someone from a distance or the constant speedblitzing, the movie becomes a blurr at this point =(. Unfortunatly im not sure how all this will work though considering she's basically powered by the greek gods =(

This is not the MCU and their horrible power levels buddy, she not going to be powered down to roid rage guy levels, she isnt gonna be Superman level but CAP LEVELS? dont be ridiculous.

Since when people like street level heroes more? Destruction galore aside, the general consensus is MoS has the best action of any superhero movie so far (no marvel fanboys, CAP2 is good but it doesnt come close to a proper godlike superpowered fight), i fully trust in Snyder to make Wonder Woman have a fantastic showing on the big screen.

So I guess the only question now is... Whose playing Cap Marvel? And when the heck is this planned for release? I was hoping Pre-Justice League, and then have Shazam part of the JL. But that doesn't seem likely now.

I think Shazam won't make it to the DC film universe anytime soon.

I see DC focusing solely on the anti-hero/villain Black Adam.

If that's Dick Grayson, I wonder how he can sub for Bruce in the suit and still seem the same height.

Dc is very late to the party. As usual. They want to copy Loki as the likeable villain.

don't get your panties in a waaaaaaad it was just a opinion. And as far as the god like superpowers fight. SO far we have thor and MOS and they did decent at best. The fight scenes tend to be all CGI and we all know what happens when you CGI a film to death.........COUGH Green Lantern......COUGH.

As for MoS having the best action to date that is your opinion and yours alone. As far as the cap 2 fights not being godlike.......of coarse not they were BETTER in my opinion. WHen A hearld type character starts generating billion dollar movies without the help of other character's in the movies ill stick to the notion that street levelers or even someone in Ironmans category are more popular with people. Ironman and batman are the only films to date to break that kinda money by themselves.
