The villain has depth in what he represents, even if he doesn't have it in his motivations. I mean, if you don't like Doomsday that's cool, but to say the stories would lack depth is pushing it imo.
DoS isn't the top of my list, but that's only because Superman does have a good bunch of stories that could all be adapted.

It's likely no surprise that the forthcoming Green Lantern Corps film from Warner Bros. will feature both Hal Jordan and John Stewart, the two best-known characters to wear the ring of Green Lantern.Still, Cinefilos says that they've just seen some concept art that features both characters -- possibly the same or similar art as was seen at Comic Con International: San Diego.
Just checked out the new trailer, Eisenberg is incredibly annoying, he sounds like a damned caricature to me, I don't know if that's just me being used to the Clancy Brown interpretation or what... But I personally don't at all get what he's going for.
Other than that, I think it looks great, I don't get what everyone's b*tching about, or maybe Marvel fanboys are just that vocal?

AS I SAID, I really liked the first trailer for BvS. But this second trailer is a mess after the first minute or so. Stop turning this into a Marvel vs DC thing. It has NOTHING to do with the quality of the trailer. I'm still going to see the movie, but this did let me down a bit from the first trailer.

Its not about too much or too little humor. Its about doing it well. Any genre can be shit if written bad. Humor, Dark/grim, romance, drama, etc.
And from what I saw of the "humor" in BvS, is not very good. Especially cringe lord Lex.
