Never really a huge fan of the character; and I have less than 0 faith in Ryan Reynold's as a leading actor. So I'll be skipping this one. Perhaps I'll watch it when it comes out on dvd. But to each their own.

False. If DC makes nothing but bad movies (not likely), then superhero fatigue will spread faster. Comic movies are at their all time high right now...but no genre lasts forever. Ask the Western, or Political Thriller....It's not just DC either, if Marvel's movies don't keep being good, then fatigue sets in faster as well.
So far we've had a mixture of good, bad & down right cringe worthy hero movies.
The bad & cringe-worthy in my opinion include:
3 Fantastic Four movies
Green Lantern
2 GhostRiders
DareDevil
Ang Lee Hulk
Superman Returns
IM 2 & 3
Thor 1 & 2
Batman Clooney
Batman Kilmer
XMen ( can't remember which ones)
2 Wolverines
If there was fatigue, it would've shown by now.

He didn't say it's happening. He said it would happen if we started getting a series of bad superhero movies in a row. That's why competition is good, and why we're all waiting for WB/DC to get off their asses and give Marvel some damn competition. More competition means less of the IM3's level quality. Because even if the Superhero genre stays high for the next 2 decades, we don't want Marvel getting Lazy because they KNOW they will make money no matter what.
