Mad Max wasn't nearly the SJW-fest people said it would be, though I would argue it's also a tad overrated. A good movie, but that's as far as I'd go.

Actually WB/DC is still trying to get going with its A-List characters-- Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern and Aquaman.

DC has a lot of famous names. More so than Marvel. And has always had more potential IMO(especially given Marvel didn't have the rights to some of their biggest names). However where Marvel took the lead, transforming it's B-Listers into A-Listers, DC haven't had the same drive until now.
