It's underperforming in China?
It's just doing OK in China, but outstanding in other parts of the world like Mexico (second best opening of all time) and India. Among others. If those numbers are correct or hold up, it will be the biggest super hero debut WW of all time. Until CW comes out that is.

I havent seen the movie yet, but I busted out laughing at this quote from somebody on CBR.[b]I left the theater even more depressed than I was after seeing Man of Steel. I physically felt sick.
This is a movie for people who can't stand the sunny optimism of Daredevil.

LOL!
A slew of downbeat reviews are having no impact on “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice,” with the Warner Bros. tentpole heading for a $180 million opening weekend in the U.S., early estimates showed Friday.
The Good Friday opening day number is likely to wind up between $78 million and $83 million at 4,242 sites — which translates to $165 million to $180 million for the weekend. The Friday number included an impressive $27.7 million from its Thursday night shows.

So now its Transformers strategy I guess.
Make underwhelming movies that make tons of cash? 😬

As long as the general audience likes it, it will generate cash. I already said this might be a Transformers type of situation. If that's the case, you can't call this a failure.
