Shit is selling out fast at my theater. Pretty much all showtimes thus far for good Friday. Looks like WOM is decent to good so far.

Doubt WOM is affecting the Friday sales too much, it's official opening day and a superhero film with the names "Batman" and "Superman" will draw the masses on that alone.

WOM will matter next week and the following weeks more so than opening week.

True that. Let's see how much it drops next week.

WOM?

Eisenberg stunk up the film.. he was cringeworthy and overacted..

This isn't surprising in the least.

Agreed.

It was kind of alright I'd give it 6/10 overall hugely improved from MoS

Ben Affleck is a great Batman

Jesse Eisenberg gives a great performance that doesn't feel like Lex Luthor

Henry Cavill is wooden and stiff as superman

Story and villain motivation are both weak and movie feels very disjointed and awkwardly constructed

the audience score on RT is falling.

and only 70 fresh scores out of 238. That's a 29.4%. green lantern territory.

I don't see the legs for this being long at all.

Who the **** gives a shit about RT.

He's............a...............highlig.......................**** no I can't even

Nope nope nope. He's secretly Dr. Sivanna, you'll see. He'll show back up in the Shazam movie, and The Rock will give him the Kahndaq people's elbow.

Lots of people

Casual people in my office were openly talking about the RT score. They are aware.

Your personal distaste for it is irrelevant.

Quote me. I posted fan reactions, so not everyone hated his character and he did get some praise from certain critics. 🙂

That's a facade, obviously. Even Snyder addressed that in his interviews.

You can definitely see Lex in the commercial. Most people dug that. And yes, Snyder confirmed that Lex is a lot more complex in the movie than we saw in the 1 minute trailer.

Eisenberg will silence the haters soon.

I can post more but, I dont have the patience to dig through 500 pages of Golgo advertisements.

A lot of people.

Who can't make up their own opinion.

I really enjoyed it. Sure it was no Avengers, but didn't need to be really. And I'd say it was a slight improvement over the last solo outings for Batman and Superman.

Oh and everyone starting applauding when the film ended at my theatre. Guess that was like a F**** You to the critics.

My issues:

1. Could have cut out a few scenes. Movie didn't need to be that long.
2. Jesse's madness started off ok, but got annoying later on.
3. The Wonder Woman entrance music was horrible.
4. Justice League cameos seemed very forced. In fact that whole scene was pretty random.
5. I actually felt the main Batman v Superman fight was the most boring fight in the film. With all the hype of it being Batman v Superman, that part was a let down.

My score 7.5/10

The audience will let us all know how they felt about it with the box office takings over the next few weeks.

Oh Civil War trailer was on and Spider-Man got a big cheer.

a lot of people are taking this opportunity to bash DC, but remember when marvel's biggest hits were spiderman 3 followed by xmen 3? keep in mind that those 2 pieces of shit were released shortly after batman begins. both brands have their peaks and slumps.
