Which sucks as I figured BvS should sell itself in any other scenario and probably would have if there wasn't so much cramming or unecessary stuff.

I'm anticipation for Justice League has diminished a bit but Gadot was suprisingly servicable for WW even if her appearance in the film wasn't needed. DC might be able to redeem themselve if they can make her solo film work.

Thor 1 was a great film. Really boosted the MCU in Phase I IMO.

Like WW's action scenes with Doomsday. But still don't like Gadot in the part tbh. And didn't like her bringing her accent to the role.

Think they'll have a hard time pulling off the solo film with her tbh.

Think Suicide Squad will be a much better film.

Thor was great for the fact that it made magical gods fit in with the Marvel Universe. It's also a funny, entertaining movie.

Ant-Man is a superhero comedy, and it excels at the comedy aspects imo.

Avengers leans a lot on the fact that it's the big coming together of the superheroes. If you don't include that, cracks show, but it's still pretty good.

As far as competition goes, if it works the DC will actually have a leg up with a lead female superhero: unless Captain Marvel comes out before it.

Ant-Man would need to be f*cking terrible to be worse than Hulk films...

I think they shouldn't think about getting a leg up, and instead should concentrate on just making good movies, and building up goodwill for their DCEU.
