A Cinemascore of B isn't good...Anyway, Snyder needs the boot. Thankfully, nothing is really ruined. I don't see the need to reboot the universe. Both Batman and Wonder Woman were well done. And I quite liked
Spoiler:So, I feel, the film actually did a good job setting up the JL's plot though not so well when it came to
Lex's final speech about the Gods coming.Spoiler:
introducing the members. I mean an email... Really? And WW was scrolling it down one line at a time! 🙄
It's not bad, either. Far from what the RT score has you believe.

Im surprised
Spoiler:
They didnt use individual windows folders with the characters names and release date of their movies to let the audience know.
I also think they reused the same clip of Gals face for each reveal.

it really seemed like it was something they added in, in post production.

Well, I wouldn't mind Miller taking over. He's a much better and more versatile director than Snyder.
Maybe, but without a more coherent story I worry about the quality going forward.
At least Affleck will be divorced from it somewhat with his own Batman movie.

Who would you pick as a director? Oh, and Miller is much better at telling a story. Not even close, imo.

Miller is a talented director, I don't doubt that. I just would hope he has the sensibility in that he can adapt a comic book story to the screen. Supposedly talented directors have tried before and made a bit of a hash of it.
The screenplay to me is always going to be more important than the director, or at the very least the general tone of the story.
I'd really like them to bring in someone like Johns to write the actual outline for the story next time. He "gets" the characters as well as anyone, and while I'd love to see someone like Morrison take a crack at it, it would be far too high concept for a lot of people if he was given that much freedom.
It needs to balance good storytelling with good action. You can have one without the other, but the movie only lives up to its potential if you have both.

Getting into the spoiler talkSpoiler:
does flash coming from the future or some alternate reality to warn Batman about Superman/Lois Lane in the dream sequence actually mean something????
It's connected to the desert sequence. Presumably
Spoiler:, Earth is ****ed.
Darkseid comes to Earth and ****s everything up, and without Superman, who generally is the one to stand in Darkseid's way

Geoff Johns? Ben Affleck stated yesterday that he's working close with him. The reason I think Miller would be good, is because of his versatility. He's done movies like Lorenzo's Oil, Babe, Happy Feet, to Mad Max. Plus he's a diehard DC fan.
Snyder said he was too, but look at some of the stupid shit he said in interviews.
If Johns is working with Affleck, that IS interesting. Sad though if Johns isn't in charge of people like Flash or Aquaman.

An incoherent story isn't subjective. A bad screenplay can be objectively bad.
