Antman is a good movie

Still this movie wasn't bad (I actually enjoyed it). Marvel has made worse movies. But I guess they've earned that bash free card with their better movies.
You would defend this pos and bash marvel. This movie stunk. Face it. It earned those shitty scores. Trainwreck of a film.

At least we have Civil War coming soon.

Civil War will be much better. I am laughing at the people like Darth Thor who thought otherwise.

I think they shouldn't think about getting a leg up, and instead should concentrate on just making good movies, and building up goodwill for their DCEU.

They need new screenwriters, for starters. And someone like Geoff Johns to come in and nail shit down.

Cinemascore rates BVS a solid B.

ComScore PostTrak audience have inched up their thumbs up for the movie from 71% last night to 73% grading it either very good or excellent. Definite recommend rate to friends remains at a solid 60%. Looking at the family responses — it’s pretty damn good. Parents give_BvS__a very good/excellent score of 79% while kids under 12 grade it at 87%. _Seventy-nine percent of all parents are spreading good wom to their friends about Snyder’s movie while 75% of all the kids that saw are going to tell their friends immediately to go see it.

Increase of good WOM.

Kind of hoping it doesn't do too well, as sad as it seems.

I agree. I want Snyder gone. He has created such a bleak joyless DCU. It's one thing to have a more serious tone...but.....yah. Well, shit, at least we have Mamoa-man.

I like how Z is still trying to convince everyone that it's a great movie.

**** you.

Seriously though, I would be happy if they brought someone in to just control Snyder. To do a script/screenplay, hammer down what they want, then give it to him. He's done fine when he's had stuff to basically copy, and I still think he's one of the best directors for superhero action scenes in the current era.

I'm more worried about the story. The dialogue was okay for the most part, but the plot was horribly convoluted and while it was fine for me knowing what a

was or what the

meant, it was only going to leave people scratching their heads.

I mean, there are some REALLY NICE sequences in that film, and I'd attribute those to Snyder given that they were mostly visual.

And there needs to be far less "by committee" stuff too.

There shouldn't be any by committee stuff at all. It was their dumb decision to half ass and bring the less popular Jl members in a film for their most lucrative characters, and it caused the story to become botched and they didn't even effectively introduce them. Most fans wanted to see the DC trinity, not MOS-esque flashbacks that make scenes less coherent and a dream sequence/email for an intro. **** that was terrible and Aquaman looks like an idiot, I hope his film tanks

I actually don't think it's a great movie, but the general audience thinks it's very good. Sometimes the critics don't equal the audience tastes as I've said before.

They're wrong. "Very good" is ****ing pushing it.

in a Hollywood movie, it isn't going to happen. you get a big budget, you get the studio sticking their noses in, and WB has shown time and time again that it doesn't want DC running its own movies.

Lessening that influence is the best we can hope for.

There is no right or wrong when it comes to personal opinions. It's all subjective.

Yet you're doing your best to post any and everything positive about the movie in the hope that people will change their mind. You are obviously heavily invested in how the movie is perceived.

An incoherent story isn't subjective. A bad screenplay can be objectively bad.

I liked the screenplay and thought it was a big improvement over, MOS.

Not really. People will think whatever, regardless of positive information. I'm just pointing out that this movie SO FAR is far from a failure.

Yes really, you've spent hundreds of posts defending it from any and all criticism.

A Cinemascore of B isn't good...

Anyway, Snyder needs the boot. Thankfully, nothing is really ruined. I don't see the need to reboot the universe. Both Batman and Wonder Woman were well done. And I quite liked
