Not sure why you still don't understand. This movie had MASSIVE pre-release ticket sales. People were hyped as hell for it. It's not a surprise whatsoever that it made a bunch of money. What WILL be surprising is if it keeps making tons of money after the initial weekend.
I don't see this film having legs at all.

To each their own. I didn't HATE the movie but I definitely feel like it's time for Snyder to go away. I don't enjoy the DCU he's made. MoS could have worked as their Iron Man; but Snyder's Iron Man 2 (BvS) was just as underwhelming to me. Though, if I had to pick one to watch over it'd be BvS because as bad as Eisenburg is.....Mickey Rourke had no fkng business being in the MCU.
On the positive side he's not involved in the next two DC films.

Thanks to Golgo's incredible efforts, tomatometer is back to 30%.

This will probably have a steep drop next week. 400 is still in the cards, though. That's assuming it has good WOM.

They're trying too hard to catch up with Marvel, you can say Marvel is throwing in all these characters into the new cap film sure BUT these are characters we've seen already introduced in solo films that lead up to Avengers, apart from of course spider-man and black panther.

And Black Panther.

You might be right Darth. OS numbers are strong, overall. Could hit 400 this weekend.

Well these characters are characters for kids. Its not the kids fault thinking they will enjoy a movie based on the characters they love from comics and cartoons.

They probably have no idea its a a try-hard super edgy dark take on kids characters.

Slap me. The movie the kids enjoyed was Deadpool, not BvS. I missed that.

Np.

I'm always here for you, bro 👆

The real reason Batman and Superman fought:

The entire movie was based on batman vs superman, and their fight pretty much sucked.

Was it really that hard to write a decent fight between the two? Or did they think the trailer and anticipation was enough for the movie?

Dont ever underestimate the level of human stupidity.

That fight was 95% of what even mattered

I'm about to go watch it.

Please don't suck.

I liked the actual fight right up until the end.

Just got back from watching this. I think it was a solid 6/10.

It had some amazing parts but it also had some extremely bland parts. I think they may have had problems bringing all of the plot hooks and angles together smoothly as well.

I actually thought the fight and the scene between Lex and Superman right before it were some of the best moments in the movie.

I didn't like the literal start of the fight, but once it got going I thought it was one of the best parts of the film. the best action sequence in the whole thing.
