Arrow as the movie Green Arrow? No... 🙁

Yeah that's why I initially said they either should have tried to get The Flash on a big network (if it was to be part of the shared cinematic universe) or they just should have given him a damn Solo movie instead (best option).

But they are doing neither. Not many people will know who the Flash is when he appears in JL. In fact they've been so slow getting to him to the big screen he might actually seem like a rip off of Quicksilver now LOL.

Funny how DC is rushing and stalling at the same time as it appears with their failure/indecision to do something with Flash. Granted one of the problems I think making a Flash movie would have is dealing with the villain gallery. Flash villains, except Professor Zoom, are pretty lame IMO.

It's not difficult. The first movie could just be mainly him discovering his powers and using them to fight street crime, leading up to a sequel on Professor Zoom. They are making a whole Tv series, so I'm sure a couple of great films could have been done. If you can make even 1 great movie that's enough for character popularity. Then it doesn't even matter too much if the sequels suck(especially when they are going to stand out again in a team movie)- Just look at the Iron Man franchise.

But WB really should have got there first on the big screen with the whole speedster thing. I mean look how people are wowing with Quicksilver. The Flash should have been the first to Wow people like that, and it's a real shame Fox gets there first with Marvel's 2nd rate Flash.

But Flash would still need a villain. Heck even IM1 kind of had the Iron Monger even though it was mostly about learning to effectively use the suit while facing his past mistakes and fighting terrorism. If Flash going to go overseas?

Yeah WB definitely screwed up with this one. They have the resources, character rights, and access to competent directors to make a Flash movie work: I think they even turned down Joss Whedon at one point. Now if he ever shows up in the rushed Justice League project, everyone's going to think he's a second rate Quicksilver especially if the actor portraying him sucks.

Why not? Stephen Amell's pretty solid as Oliver.

He's nothing special. The writers, villians and supporting characters make Arrow the awesome show it is.

After seeing him play Fandral in Thor 2, I actually think Zachary Levi would be a good green arrow for the DCU.

I agree in this one.
DC really screwed pretty bad with the Flash, Xmen Quicksilver is to many people the first of its kind and many were wowed by him, heck i think even MCU Q is gonna fall pretty short compare to it.

I'm just a fan of the older, preboot Oliver Queen. He's one of my favourite comic characters, and had some amazing stories.

I see no reason to include Green Arrow on the JL in the first place. There are far more "deserving" characters IMO.

TBF, his role was pretty much non-existent.

What with his 3 total lines? If you've seen Levi's other work you'd know he's perfect for the role.

Bruce changes his mind all the time so don't expect him to actually stand his ground on anything.

Yeah GA isn't necessary. Although it would be nice to have someone to give Batman a run for their money.

But he's only being brought up because he's sharing a TV Universe with the new Flash series. Now the Flash is an important one to show his Origin, instead of just having him as some random human whose faster than Superman showing up for the first time in the Justice League.

That's why it was a big mistake Imho to not only choose to do a Flash series instead of movie, but then not to at least attempt to get the show on a proper network where they can get a mass audience. Instead of on the CW where it won't get more than 3 million in all likelihood.

I think a reason Arrow got a TV show is because WB had no intention of including him in JL.

I thought it was more to do with how popular the character was on Smallville.
