Link (Legend of Zelda) vs. Samus (Metroid)

That game even getting the amount of content/attention that it did in Smash was a disgrace.

Other M was really fun. You're all haters. The story did disservice to Samus' character, but the game itself was really fun.

Ok. The way i see it is samus has alot of different ways to shoot, smash or blow link up. Link has a sufficient amount of ways to do that to samus, but he also comes some haxy stuff that samus wouldn't be able to defend against.

I thought the only hax link has is the Shield defense?

If you coint stoping time or aging samus in to an 98 year old women a shield defense, then ok.

Question is does the armor Samus wear protects her from such attacks.

It doesn't have to. Once link takes her to the dark world she'll become an orange flamingo or something. Without chozo dna the suit won't work anymore.

(A) She has Chozo DNA.
(B) I've personally never heard of Link being able to age someone to death. Even then, I've never heard of him fighting in such a manner.
(C) To my knowledge, Samus has never held off (purported) time manipulation.
(D) It wouldn't be the first "dark world" Samus has been to. That said, I'm not sure what that entails, admittedly.

Even after all this time, I'm still of the belief that this match-up can't be definitively settled. haermm

A) she has chozo dna but turning into another species kinda messes with that , doesn't it.
B) Ironicaly, he's only ever done it to birds.
C) I've only played fusion and the first prime so I'm not a hundred percent either.
D) yes, but this dark world used to house the triforce and is constantly being warped by ganon's evil.
