Malak? Really?I always found him a merely passable villain.
Malak's great. Imposing, scheming, cunning, and fairly direct. Complex plots and master strategy is Sidious's domain, but Malak will take the more straightforward route and simply Cut the Knot. He wants Revan's mantle, what's he do? Waits til Revan's in a precarious position and simply unleashes overwhelming firepower. Same with Bastila.
I admire that pragmatism.
Nihilus is fine in theory, but deeply flawed in execution. Avellone couldn't make up his mind if he wanted Nihilus to be omnipotent or crippled, cunning or moronic. It would have been best had he been unaffiliated with the Sith in general.
Kreia's also fine in theory, but is far too blatantly sinister to be a skilled manipulator.

Who do you believe is the worst?.

Fair enough. I could never get passed his design and he came across as "Mwhahaha" evil but without any of the fun.

Agreed on both accounts. I think that's really what is so disappointing about Nihilus. He had the potential to be of the most interesting Sith in the mythos but, at the end, it falls flat on its face.

Seriously man, you're just digging a hole atm. You don't wanna keep going. Traya is an amazingly written character and Nihilus is iconic and badass as ****.
Nihilus has mystique going for him, that's it. Kreia's got awesome motivation but is, again, too dark and blatant about it for anyone with double-digit IQs to not instantly distrust. It'd be no different than Sidious being the ragged ugly fvck we see in ROTJ running for Senate in TPM. At least George recognized Palpatine had to appear and behave absolutely unassumingly for his gambit to be effective. Avellone was far too heavyhanded.

^lol.At the LEAST you have to hate Sion.
He's pretty cool. His intro was badass, with him silently approaching on a ship filled with corpses. Then you hear that recording about how messed up his body is and he kills that woman. Plus his voice is badass and his whole schtick is memorable and interesting.

You're meant to distrust her. Avellone knew that he couldn't top the Revan reveal so didn't try. Instead you spend the game running around with the Big Bad and conscious of that fact whenever you talk to her. It makes it very interesting imo. The Force Bond thing ensures that even those who want to just attack her understand why the character wouldn't.

Sion was a evil ugly ass pedophile/lame Majin Boo ripoff. IMO.

Never understood why people bitched about Peragus. I loved the tone and felt it was one of the highlights of the game.

Of the major ones? Vitiate, hands down. Of the EU in general, well there's far too many candidates to reasonably consider.
Agreed. Vitiate is just a lame Sidious ripoff. Most of the EU villains suck in general.
My top villains list would be
1.Sidious
2.Vader
3.Maul
4.Dooku
5.Savage
6.The Son
7.Plagueis
8.Tarkin
9.Kyrat
Peragus was the best part of the game, man!
The first time. 😐

Caedus is worse.
Also Abeloth probably. At least Vitiate has interesting story's based around him.

The Force bond is a terrible EU creation, but one that I won't pin on Avellone, since it originated elsewhere.
There really didn't have to be a reveal. Have Kreia be the blunt, argumentative, blackmailing b1tch she really is to tertiary characters like Atton and so but an effective manipulator needs to disguise their sinister designs.
In Buffyverse terms, she needed to be more Mayor Wilkins/Holland Manners (Affably Evil and/or Faux Affably Evil) than The Master (Obviously Evil).
