I vote Ser Gregor "The Mountain that Rides" Clegane from A Song of Ice and Fire for mid street.
Physically, he is above peak human. He was able to cave a man's skull in by basically using it as a stress ball, while Gregor himself was wounded and on his back. He can cut armoured men in half with a single blow of a greatsword he wields single-handedly, and wields it like lesser men "wield daggers". He runs and fights while wearing a suit of plate mail so large that most men could not bear the weight of it, much less move in it, and under that he wears heavy chainmail and boiled leather.
He is largely immune to pain, having frequent migraine headaches that he consumes large amounts of milk of the poppy (Pain numbing medication) to dull, and he drinks milk of the poppy more than most alcoholics drink booze.
He is noted to be quicker than a man his size (7'11" and over four hundred pounds of muscle) has any right to be, and is considered one of the most skilled warriors, and possibly the most savage fighter within the Seven Kingdoms.
In battle he rides a huge warhorse (That nevertheless seems undersized when he is riding it), and the aforementioned armour he wears makes him nigh-impervious to most weaponry within the setting, with an eight foot long spear being only capable of piercing the weaker joints of his armour. He tends to wield a six foot long greatsword in combat in his right hand, with an incredibly thick heavy oaken shield in his left. He also has a dagger for close-quarters combat and has been known to carry a lance while mounted in warfare as well
So, thoughts?
