Sidious or Han?

Little of column A, little of column B.

Maybe ROTS Sidious, and after a lengthy fight.

And Gids, notice how my claim was that you nobody provided an argument for how Sidious was going to take down Krayt. Your response was.. That Sidious has plenty of feats against Krayt. Not the same thing sir.

As I said, bro, pretty much everyone around here knows Sidious's feats (due in no small part to them being shoved down every poster's throats as part of their initiation).

Had the argument persisted then yes, 66 would have been obligated to compare feats and accolades. As it stands, Krayt is a veritable unknown; no one gives a shit about him. 66 is right to evince skepticism in such a bold claim. I think we can forgive 66 not jumping out the gate with the usual 3 pages of Sidious feats.

😆 Watching Tempest and mike argue, is like watching a slap-fight between toddlers.

Speaking of toddlers, how's the mustache and the van with the blacked out windows coming along?

Virtual unknown.

Main villain of a 56 issue comic run with something like a half-dozen fights, including against people who've had dozens of fights, *not* counting his novel fight alongside Luke.

This is just era-bias, same as always.

There's a big difference between 'an unknown' and 'I chose not to pay attention' 🙂

The only thing that has been offered by Q99 is that Krayt has demonstrated certain abilities Palpatine hasn't and is presumably an elite duelist by virtue of his age and experience.

And comparison to known fighters, and the fighters of his own time. Heck, he was an elite duelist back in the Clone Wars- he's defeated Aurra Sing, smacked Anakin with a Gaffi stick, and fought a deadly-serious Obi-Wan not long after RotS, and more than held his own in the saber portion, even hit-smacking Kenobi in the face (then Kenobi used the force to open his guard and win, but hey, it's Kenobi). That's above any of the three council members who fell to Sidious (Fisto himself wished that Kenobi was with them instead on the way to the room!).

Then he got intensive sith training over decades, and got to the point where he cleared a Vong ship unarmed. At this point he's implanted with Vong growths and armor, which is lightsaber resistant, so he's very tough.

Then he started making his order, and around a decade later fought Abeloth with Luke, where he was the primary damage dealer and Luke talked about the two of them forming the new balance between light and dark, clearly recognizing him as a powerful sith who's beyond the Lost Tribe members.

Then, after nearly a century of collecting darkside knowledge and engaging in many battles and training many followers... he is freed of the Vong growths and no longer has to use the force to hold him back, as well as gaining enlightenment from passing through death. He gains both Shatterpoints and the ability to heal from death (himself and others) or use the same ability to kill.

Oh yes, and it turns out fear of Krayt is why Caedus fell in the first place! Seems Jacen Solo, badass high-level Jedi war veteran, felt he was too weak to stop Krayt.

And, lemme tell you about Antares Draco, just for some general era knowledge.

Antares Draco is a badass.

Antares Draco went to Korriban to rescue Maraiash Fel. First he and his buddies take down the Sith guards to the interrogation chamber. Then they break out Maraiash, and are set upon by about a dozen Sith. Two of them attack him, and he dispatches them.

Then seven more sith come, and he's like, "You guys need to escape, or they'll tie us up until we're overwhelmed! Don't worry about me, I got this!." The Jedi and Imperial Knights he was with leave, and he gets set upon by 7 Sith warriors. Not one at a time like hollywood mooks, but all at once.

And he kills them all.

Only then does an elite Sith, Dark Havok (and Draco's former master, before falling), come and manage to defeat the not so fresh Draco.

So, one afternoon and he's already almost in the double-digit force user kill rankings (he, of course, already has more elsewhere, but 9 in one mission, most of them in a single conflict moments after a prior fight, isn't bad).

Antares Draco is a solid tier down from Cade Skywalker, let alone Krayt. The era is full of badasses like Draco, walking slaughterhouses who take on rank and file force users in quantity.

Anyone who tells you the elite Legacy force users are weak hasn't been paying attention.

On Sidious finishing everything fast- tell that to Maul and Opress 🙂

So who wins in a duel to the death. ROTS Sidious or Krayt?.

To make my own stance clear, Sidious certainly beats Armored Krayt, while Krayt can clash for a bit the Vong growths mean he will run out of steam after several minutes of pushing to keep up.

Reborn Krayt vs RotS Sidious....? Now that's a truly epic fight. Sids of course still holds the upper hand, as he does in a personal fight with any Sith, but it's close enough that luck can play a factor.

Forgot my funny .gif I selected.

You seem particularly troubled by my choice of phrasing, so in the interest of clarification, I’ll be painfully clear: By “veritable unknown,” I meant “veritable unknown relative to Sidious,” which he factually is.

Sidious is probably the most exposed Sith Lord in the mythology, second only to Vader. In terms of importance, he’s second to no one. One is the Big Bad of a staggeringly popular film series that will be remembered for all time; the other is a Big Bad of a comic book series that will tailspin into obscurity. No one around here—beyond yourself and Beefy—has any firm grasp of the character’s abilities and it owes nothing to bias but complete lack of interest. No one cares. Sidious has been force-fed (pun intended) down the throats of every single poster who has ever graced this board since the noble Lightsnake joined and the great Gideon began his virtuous conquest whereupon all gleefully prostrated themselves before the guy who conquered the Republic, toppled the Jedi, and took over the galaxy. In musical terms, you're comparing someone like Hendrix to someone who tinkers with a guitar in his mother's basement; you'll have to forgive the public not being on first-name basis with the latter.

Tl;dr: There’s a big difference between Sidious and Krayt. 🙂

Now that that’s been sufficiently rubbed in your face, can we move on please?

Well, I gotta admit that losing an arm to Obi-Wan is really something, but I've seen nothing that puts Hett above three of the Jedi's finest swordsmen.

None of this suggests parity with Sidious. All it suggests is that Krayt is a badass.

There's a big difference between "badass" and "can hang with Sidious." 🙂

Didn't read the rest, to be honest. Scans or quotes from relevant sources would be cool; if I want a synopsis, I'll read their wiki pages.

I've had a Dooku vs Krayt debate with ol' mikequeer up there, one in which he claimed Krayt would own Dooku with the force. lol

Mikequeer always enters a debate trying to put on this act like he's some kinda aggressive mean guy, but then whimpers and complains when someone gets too "personal" with him.

Q99, I'll respond to you maybe later tonight.

Your aggression pleases me. You and Miguel will do battle and entertain me.

Tempest, your posts reminds me of Sidious lmao.

SIDIOUS_66?

I think its going too far to say that Sidious would wreck Krayt or that he can't hang with him, personally. Krayts already hung (hanged?) with Luke, and has plenty else to indicate he's not a combatant Sidious would be able to casually dismiss.

lol

I barely seen your last reply to Q99. Nice.

No battle between me and Miguel. He's a lawyer, way beyond me.

Neph, shutup. Sidious would wreck Krayt.

No. What you gonna do, huh? Gonna make me?
