Definitely buy the comics, but the story and plot are completely different.

Portrayals are spot on, IMO... Especially Cassidy's. He kills it.

I'm really curious if they'll touch on SOK's supernatural origin, though. I kind of hope they don't, because it was pretty cheesy... Even in the comics.

Really? I f*cking love the 4 issue origin story of the Saint. Amazing storytelling.

I was mainly referring to the portrayal of Satan and the Angel of Death. Their dialogue was embarrassingly terrible.

That's one of the best parts, IMO. I laugh every time.

However, it might be a trifle cheesy for today's audience.

The motel scene was awesome and bloody. I'm so glad that the show in finally picking up speed and becoming more like the comic book.

I also liked the reference to Jesse's grandma.

was different -- I actually felt really bad for the kid. But if the TV and comic versions of Genesis are intended to be the same(which seems to be the case), then he/it is equal to THE God... Which means he's pretty damned unbounded lol.

Either way, they should be releasing SOK very soon now... And that should be fun. 😄
