I find it absolutely laughable that Bruce is being portrayed as the only option to save DCU prepping and Tony is looking at his scribbled doodlings in between drinks and in mid strokes with his latest Top Model conquest prepping.
Tony has out prepped Reed, Doom, Mags, The Hanks Pym/McCoy, BP and Kang etc... etc... etc...
He's beaten SS, Doom, Mags, Kang, HULK and SENTRY with that prep etc... etc... etc...
Bruce is out of his league against Tony sorry. Prepping for Street levelers isn't the same as prepping for Heralds.
Tony wins 9.5/10

Judging by your username, Im sure your opinions are completely objective lmfao
This suggestion that batman somehow wins via superior strategy and tactics despite being exceedingly outgunned by a similarly smart and prepping opponent is absolutely nonsensical. And that is why the arguments in his favor so far amount to wishful thinking that assumes that Tony will just be twiddling his thumbs while batman is prepping. People are seriously bringing up the number of martial arts that Bruce knows and how he would beat tony in a fight without the suit as if this somehow adds to the preponderance of evidence in his favor. It's asinine.
Tony has Bruce immensely outgunned in terms of tech, firepower and overall resources. He is no slouch at strategy either and certainly not retarded enough to squander the aforementioned immense advantages.
Originally posted by Silent MasterYour logic is flawed. Lack of exact examples doesn't disprove a claim. But whiplash comes to mind. It's Tony's character to underestimate weaker characters. This is common sense. He has an ego. Tony has prepped and lost lots of times. He is no batman here. He only goes for shit like Thor buster when he is extremely outmatched.
Give examples of a prepped Tony underestimating people because they're human.
Ill also throw out there that there is a big difference between Current Tony and the Tony of the past. He's far less likely to succumb to his ego now than he was. He's been sharpened over the years of his being a hero and has learned from his many failures. Current Tony is a far more secure head on his shoulders than he used to.

Sorry about this guys (I don't really have dog in this fight), but if Lex Luthor could make a battle suit that can take on Superman, don't you think Bruce could build a similar (but slightly inferior) battle suit specifically designed to take on Iron Man (similar to the one in The Dark Knight Returns) inside of a week? Also, is it outside of the realm of possibility that Bruce already has a highly advanced battle suit lying around for just such an occasion(I'm not on anyone's side, I'm just asking)?
The implication being that Wayne is anywhere near Luthor in terms of raw intellect...

batman will prep the best he can since he knows that he is outgunned.
This is what gives Bruce a chance. Bruce doesn't fight fair and will use almost anything at his disposal. Suits of armor, magical weapons, help from JL, trying to hack Tony's armors, GL rings, etc. Batman might even use those alien nanobots that couldn't be stopped without the atoms help.

It's widely regarded that Batman is smarter than Stark overall.
Batman may be more clever. More sharp. More cunning. Even more strategic, since he usually works with far less, but he isn't smarter. Wayne isn't more brilliant. Wayne isn't more inventive. And he isn't more plot-device-comic-sciency.

This is a fight where they have general knowledge and prep, so give some examples that prove that Tony is likely to underestimate Batman.

Again, so Tony has to act like a complete imbecile in order for batman to win?when OP states this...
h1a8 has never cared about the rules, so pointing out that the OP states that both sides are going all out is rather pointless.
The same actually seems to be true of the batside in general, at least for this topic.

I actually enjoy his posts when he pulls math formulas out of his ass in threads, like an autistic savant minus the savant part.
Originally posted by Silent MasterI did. I gave the whiplash example.

Tony has fought humans who only used simple weapons (like freeze guns, boomerangs, etc) and they gave him problems.
But now that I see the OP says no holding back then I must give Tony the solid majority. Unless Batman comes with a GL ring, Magic item, or those nanobots.

This is all that needed to be said, folks.
I also love how Bat-fans state that firepower is not all that matters in a fight, then proceed to act as if strategy and tactics alone would give Batman the victory.
