Yeah. Just say you're wrong and throw, yourself at my mercy.

You are right, I shouldn't deal in absolutes. I will back my response down to: highly unlikely.

Unrelated subject: How is it everyone's avatar seems to be larger than mine? I have it at the max width.

Size is everything.

You need time to get to my level.

Ps. Won't ever happen.

Surfer goes easy on Thor, always. Thor rarely holds back, as he's a bit of a cock and very very conceited. If Surfer truly wanted to kill Thor, I don't think Thor would have any chance of survival.

Surfer just suffers from the same weakness that Galactus does, Marvel just don't really care or know what to do with these characters.

Surfer uses nore powers than Thor does in essentially every fight they've ever had. Both characters suffer greatly from CIS when they face each other, but Surfers pansy nature that keeps him from being worthy of Mjolnir. Even at his most arrogant, Thor was a better man than Surfer as the reality warping hammer in his hand shows.

"What some kind on a forum says"

What in the blue blazes are you going on about?
There is no such thing as a "kind" in the context you are using.
And we are not discussing what a forum says.

We are discussing what is "shown" on panel. That which you can see with your own eyes.
Surfer's powers do not come from magic land.
He doesn't "wish" himself up to Class 100 strength.

If he did not have Cosmic Power running through him, he would be, literally and by definition, POWERLESS.

He was not. It doesn't take a scholar to see that. I too go by what is on panel.
And I use common sense when the visual and verbal aspects of a Feat find themselves in conflict.

Surfer clearly has Mega Class strength in that battle. Where do you surmise that this strength came from, if not from himself?

Do you think that the Disk boosted Surfer to Class 100+ strength and durability?

Come on now.

Surfer's statement was clearly context sensitive. He was saying "I had no access to (freely use) my Power Cosmic."
You don't need a writer to micro-manage your common sense for you.
The only way that Surfer uses his body at the levels shown "on panel" is because he uses the Power Cosmic to boost his stats.

Just because the writer misses a couple of words, that is no excuse to deduce an unwarranted conclusion simply because it suits you.

Do yourself a favor and stick to On-Panel "ACTIONS" to dictate your comic book reality.

Words that fly in the face of facts are either PIS or Hyperbole.

...unless you wish to take it on good grace that Sentry actually DID stalemate Galactus prior to getting stomped by WWHulk?

All this food for thought will surely fill you better than Grandma's Turkey Dinner. Give it a taste. Logic is delicious. 😮‍💨

great debating. Makes a lot of sense what you are saying.

One thing though, Sentry's MM feat give evidence towards his Galactus feat. Hisppower level is a function of his mental state. He must been hella stable that day when he stalemate Galactus lol.

We need fresh debators here. Welcome

You can't listen to everything Pak said about Hulk though.

Pak also said nothing short of Galactus is stopping WWH.

He also said that WBH can destroy a freaking Galaxy with a single punch.

The guy was a Hulk fanatic.

I am glad you agree Paks opinion is irrelevant in forum fights.

I sure don't believe Hulk could stalemate Galactus just like I know Thanos would get killed by Galactus with a wave of his hands.

Now destroying a Galaxy with a punch, that's a possibility. This is Hulk after all.

Oh, indeed.

While we embrace such simple minded bias as a way to skirt legitimate On-Panel Feats; why don't we just go ahead and get this out of the way too then:

Hickman is a Thanos Fan-Boy of the highest order.

Based on the same logic that was just applied to Pak; why don't we just go ahead and dismiss anything Hickman has ever written about the Mad Titan.

...right. I don't think so.

Pak created WWHulk and he created WB Hulk. They are his incarnation creations.
As such, he is freely entitled to set them at any power level he wishes. He is the writer.
Just as Hickman can write Thanos at any level he chooses.

And yes, Pak is a fan of Hulk. All writers are "Fans" of their own work.
All writers are downright FAN BOYS of their own work.
This is not unique to Pak. Or any other writer.

And it is not a sufficient excuse to dismiss canon/continuity On-Panel Feats.

Nice try though. I gotta respect your attempt to wiggle out of a rational counter point.

The thing is, Thor's conceit actually forces him to hold back more often then not, because he believed Gods are > mortals. I love the character, but there's no denying he's an egomaniac on that point.

I agree with you, though. Surfer has more then enough power to mess up even high end bricks, but holds back a lot of that power..

lol at Hickman being a Thanos fanboy. He had him do almost nothing the entire series.

In the meantime he had to throw a random page in a comic in the only page Black Bolt appears in to tell everyone he was weakened.

When Hickman likes a character you know it. When Hickman doesn't care one way or another, you get Thanos.

I agree with jax. Phisically, WWH is stronger than most of Heralds. But still, Thanos is. And he has almost Skyfather level in durability. I really cant see WWH taking him down.

If Norrin can channel what's left of his power cosmic to increase his strength, obviously Hulk's rage would still be feeding him strength too, so hulks handicap is minuscule by comparison.

And if Surfer had access to the power cosmic (and wasn't simply channeling remnants of it left within his body) why didn't he call on it to free him? I understand he was under the control of the disk but he was obviously fighting at a much greater handicap than Hulk here. The idea I got was that due to the worm hole he wasn't in the same plane as the PC. He was cut off.

You said:
"Surfer's statement was clearly context sensitive. He was saying "I had no access to (freely use) my Power Cosmic."

If I go with your interpretation, I'm essentially adding words to the dialogue that aren't there. (Freely use)

If I go with the interpretation that SS was simply operating on reserves, i can take the text literally without adding onto what's there.

I understand what you are saying, but I gotta go with the most literal interpretation.

I have heard it all now. Claiming Hickman is a fanboy of Thanos is something truly out there. Thats ok you're new here and trying to make your mark.

Here's the difference and please pay attention your lesson is about to begin. Pak's work is fine just as any others writers work is evidence but their opinions on outcomes of battles which haven't hit print is just that their opinion. It has no bearing on anything. It is just another opinion.

Based on the evidence by their combined histories Thanos operates on a much higher level than Hulk. That is undeniable unless you really like the Hulk. In that case deny away and I will be to shove purple shit in your face.

In the end as always Thanos will be triumphant.

No, they aren't.

...

What

Anyway, Hickman just really really likes Blackbolt. If you read the F4 series this would be obvious, even more so now
