Is it known where they're going next as far as story or somesuch? I'd prefer Sinister be shown next.

only that the next film is set in the '90s... but it could be just the new mutants film

Look, I really like Oscar Issac as an actor but I feel he's horribly miscast.

I don't like his voice or his (Apoc's) look. Still not excited about this movie but I'll watch it when it comes out.

Oh yeah, the voice I definitely have more a problem with than the appearance. I mean, doesn't have to be exactly like Apoc's voice from X-Men the animated series or Evolution, but something more deep sounding, along with the grand self-important tone of how he usually talks would've been at least preferable... So I guess I can agree that Isaac may have been a miscast there.

What's wrong with Olivia Munn as Pyslocke?

Olivia Munn lacks the physicality psylocke should possess.
Shes not just a pretty face with a sword in her hand flipping around on wires. Which is all ive gotten from the trailers.
Same with beast, and mystique.

These characters are superhuman and should look so when fighting.

Take Captain America films.
Would they be the same with half assed fight scenes and actors who don't look the part when doing them?

So.................................apparently this movie isn't doing to hot with it's early screenings.

44% On Rottentomatoes......lol. Looks like I was probably right about hating on this from the trailers....

I'll wait until the Audience score appears

went to joblo.com, A 6/10.

Stuckmann gave it a good review, though he said it was weaker than DOFP.

Well, can't speak much for reviews, because I haven't read any myself, but there was nothing that really said "Wow" in the trailers, IMO. I mean there was large scale destruction and fighting and things, but at this point that's nothing we haven't seen brought to the big screen before. I will still go and watch it, because I am extremely curious to see how this portrayal of Apocalypse comes together in the end, but I am not expecting another Deadpool or Civil War.

Seen with one review apparently its not up to scratch compared to Singer's other X-men movies, Obviously won't know until we've all seen it.

I did say Singer should leave as director on a good note after DOFP. He could take on an Executive Producer role for the franchise after that, like he did for FC.

But why does he insist on staying on until he messes the New and rebooted X-franchise up?

Also feel like they've kind of rushed into this one.

Same. The goodwill for this one was mainly a bit of trust in it due to how good the last 2 were. Still I really wanted Vaughn back, and was always skeptical of Singer staying on.

Feel like that's a bit of an early judgement to make considered she's in all of two scenes in the trailers?

Far as appearances go she's practically a dead ringer for Psylocke though if she does turn out to suck in terms of acting then sure that will be bad.

Not really an early judgment.
Like i said before. The action scenes in the past few xmen films have been subpar. When it comes to mutant vs mutant. the scenes we've gotten so far are full of CGI and Wire fu.

Im not talking about her resemblance to psylocke rather how she looks during action sequences.

Anytime a director spends too much time on a single property it's almost gaurenteed they'll crank out a bad or subpar one. Raimi with Spider-Man, Nolan with Batman, Coppola with godfather, Spielberg with Indiana Jones and Whedon with avengers and that's naming a few. Singer was due for a dud and so might be the Russo's

Yeah, I wouldn't have minded if Vaughn had come back on for this one. I quite liked First Class.

She's only been shown doing stuff in two scenes so if she does suck then I think we should reserve judgement until a full scene is presented. Also those problems are from directing and fight choreographer fault not necessarily the actors.

Having bad CGI or a fight choreographer isn't really Olivia Munn fault if that an issue that actually turns up in the film.

That's True... but i also don't see Olivia munn doing physical training for her role.

But yeah fight choreography is very important in these superhero films.

Just be glad they didn't hire the people who did the Nolan Batman trilogy.

A friend of mine said yesterday he liked Fox-Men more than MCU.

We're not friends anymore.
