Maybe because rather than savor beating the manshit out of McClane, he wanted to get into the phucking plane before it took off and he fell off the wing, and took the more efficient action of kicking McClane off and ending the confrontation right there instead of engaging in a long McAssraping which would have, as stated, resulted in him falling off the wing. Not odd at all
Hell yes she would have beat his ass to death. LOL at "fell to his knees". McClane was on the floor long enough for her to go to Farrell and threaten him. Again, she only stopped because she had a more important priority than savor kicking McClane's ass. Had it been a basketball court with her attention solely on him, LOL if he's not leaving at the very least in a full-body cast. To the death, his face would have the consistency of smushed peas.
They were caught by surprise because they didn't know McSanford&Son were uncuffed. It wasn't like a face-to-face disarming (like Charlie Wax in FPWL, or....Mai Lihn, when she disarmed McClane in DH4 🙂 ).
