Jedi Leia ain't happening... at least it doesn't look like it...I'd also like to see it. And things like the return of Boba Fett, the Remnant instead of this "order" bs, the last warriors from Palpatine's Royal Guard, Luke's Jedi Academy, etc.
Unfortunately, Disney thinks they know better and give us stuff like a beach ball droid, Finn or a guy with the impractical lightsaber.
This Star Wars is going to kill it. Disney bought out marvel and I heard people complaining and now their heroes are shitting all over everyone else's cinematically. Disney is great and a proven success. To doubt their strategies when it comes to this is foolish. This movie is going to rape at the box office. It's undeniable.

Boba Fett... He's dead.
Yes and no, my Padawan. There's been talks of having him return and not in a past tense. It's just a matter of desire and the right story. He's technically in film limbo and it's just a matter of some writer writing that he escaped the Sarlacc and is currently alive in the main timeline. Will it happen? Who knows.

You're welcome, youngling.

Actually Quan WB is pretty damn good at marketing. Just look at the marketing for Godzilla which took in over 90 million ow. Huge for Godzilla. MOS had a great marketing campaign and BvS is off to a good start.

JMO, but the scene in the trailer showing Han and Leia sobbing in each other's arms tells me one of four things....a. luke is dead
b. chewie is dead
c. leia is pregnant(lolol)
d.they find out kylo is their sonthis is just my opinion as I have no proof until December 18th.
we're bound to see an effective demonstration of the star-killer's destructive capability...billions of voices suddendly crying out in terror, etc. even if she is still untrained, leia can sense force as was proven in the OT, so that's another possibility.

Both Disney and WB are great in marketing. American Sniper took the number one slot last year and that was up against Winter Soldier and GOTG. WB also brings in more money than any studio for the past 30 years.

American Sniper was a huge hit for WB. WB has more hits outside of franchise films than any other studio.
Top players at WB (producers) use an excellent business strategy; the hunt down and acquire new scripts and upcoming script writers. I bet you WB has more writers on their payroll (less big names, more diversity) than most other big name production shops.
I mean, all big name production companies do that. But they are making it a much higher priority.

In movies, Disney has a much more reliable slate of films than Time Warner. Pixar, Marvel, LucasFilm and its own animation studios are all considered major growth engines. Recent successes include five in-house Marvel films -- which have grossed over $4.7 billion worldwide over the past two years -- and Frozen, the highest grossing animated feature in history. Star Wars: Episode VII will also arrive next year, providing the House of Mouse with another reliable stream of box office revenue.
