Kenobi is the guy who also defeated Darth Vader in combat. Vader didn't have one advantage over Kenobi whereas Maul disarmed and taunted him after taking out his master.

Clone Wars is T-Canon as far as I know and not G-Canon. Anyway, Maul was below Obi-Wan the Padawan and his T-Canon was rather unnecessary. A cool char though, with great potential and some bad ass moments, not as cool and iconic as Vader though.
