When are you guys seeing this? I won't be able to until that saturday due to my work schedule.

Friday night for me, because that was the first showing I could make it with the best seats in an IMAX showing. No way I'm seeing this for the first time from a standard seat on a standard screen.

Then booked to see it again on Saturday afternoon.

Perhaps. Though JJ has gone on record saying that lying about Khan was a mistake and he wouldn’t do that again.

Plus Khan's a name everyone knows, so it was a big secret to keep. Plagueis, not so much.

If Snoke turns out to be more powerful than Luke I want you to grovel and apologize to me.

Ps. I'll see this film before you, poser.

MVF will have an uptick for sure, especially if JJ does what we all expect him to do, turn up the intensity with the battles, especially the force users. These cats are the superheroes of their universe, it should reflect that when they battle.

This film, BvS,Civil War and SS will give us plenty of debates.

And next summer the next Star Trek film will hit. I hope Idris Elba's character is formidable.

Problem with opening day/night for a film series like this, you get all the overly zealous clappers and hooters, who will surely clap and hoot at everything; especially OT chars and references. I'm happy for their zeal, but **** you, I want to hear/enjoy the film first and foremost.

What do you have against the real fans, huh?

He will be for sure. We might get teaser with TFA too.

Real fans shut up and take in every single nano-second of the film, quietly basking in the awesomeness, brah

👇

Nope.

Let us find common ground and just agree that I'm correct and you're incorrect.

I see his point and I'm in the middle. I want enthusiasm but if it prevents me from hearing the dialogue I'll be one angry camper. Clap at the beginning and the end if you have to but otherwise don't take away from the experience.

Exactly like me. I like Cheers and Laughter at the appropriate times. But I'll be shouting at people who disturb this movie experience for me.

Why do you hate fun? And Star Wars?

Had to tell a row of 15-20ish people to shut up opening night of LoTR: Two Towers, they clapped and hooted every single ****ing time Legolas, Aragorn or Gimli did something, anything. 20mins in I blew.

You're the guy fans hate, huh. The perpetual hooting-clapper. I'll have my eye out for you, buddy.

Sure that sucks. But I’d say SW is a very different type of film from something like LotR. When I see say Avengers I love having an audience that is really into the film. I expect that SW will have that same kind of fun rather than be deathly serious like LotR.

Having an energetic crowd that gets involved can be great fun, no doubt. No one my most fun film experience was the late showing of Army of Darkness opening night; that crowd was wild.

But this is the Wars and I want to hear all the dialogue and all the great little sounds in surround when the ships are dogfighting, especially on my first showing. Don't get me wrong, I'll laugh if Han recaps his "don't get cocky kid" line to Finn or something like everyone else, but I'm talking about the perpetual retards who never shut up.

I'm with Robtard...mostly.

People can clap or laugh. But it should't last longer than 3-5 seconds. Because then it starts to interfere with being able to hear/enjoy the film.

Edit - Often, I'm the only one in the theater busting up, laughing, over something in a film. And it is awkward. For instance, almost every time someone gets slapped in the face, I laugh. Even if it is a dramatic part. It's just funny to me. The sound...the smack...the situation. I find it funny.

Also, when over the top gore is done, I laugh at that. Like...when it is absurd or ridiculous. People probably think I'm a psycho when I laugh...

So the peeps at Collider Jedi Council including guest Justin Bolger from TheForceNet all seem convinced Snoke is Darth Plagueis:

He is completely new I hope.
