So that pic make actually be accurate after all (although it's still not official or legit). Collider recently talked about it on their movie podcast and a few sources confirmed that Snoke does look like that. Even more fishy, Disney has apparently asked them to remove it.
Seems Snoke may be Plagueis after all. Gotta say, if it's true I'm disappointed.
Originally posted by ares834Why would that be silly ? Him being damaged or vulnerable since Palpatine thought he was dead and the fact he's the big bad who manipulated Palpatine the entire time sounds like something the big bad would do. All in all I can't wait to find out who Snoke is. If he is Palpatine's master I'll probably love it since I was always fascinated by the character ever since rots.

Originally posted by ares834Do not judge a book by its cover. Well, come on now a Muun looks better than an aging geriatric with postural deficiencies. And besides that I am sure you like Kylo's look. So enjoy him. Are you even a dark side kind of guy ?
Not silly, disappointed. And it's not because he is Plagueis but rather because he is a Muun and Muun's look stupid as hell IMO.
Originally posted by ares834Well we don't even know he is Plagueis although I've always wanted him to survive that scumbags attempt on his life. You have to wait and see how they make him look. I'm sure you are fine with Yoda and he doesn't look cool at all but his appearance is iconic.
Palpatine looks leaps and bounds better than a Muun and I'm not even that big of a fan of Palpy's design. Sure, I expect that the character will still be interesting but if he is a Muun he will probably look ridiculous.
Palpatine highly improved post scarring but he still didn't look cool. His actions made him cool and that's what I place the highest emphasis on for me. But his cowardice eventually offended me too much in the end.

woah LInk PLZ!!!
Originally posted by ares834Both at face value would look odd unless they fit into the character and ultimately work. Snoke's voice already sounds awesome. I absolutely love the line, "Even you have never faced such a test." Legendary line. I've watched that tv spot well over twenty times.
Yoda's also a Jedi Master. And, unlike a Muun, I think the character design actually looks interesting. I'm perfectly fine with an "odd, frail appearance" and I expect that from Snoke. I'm just hoping for one that looks better than a stretched out person without a nose.

Here is Campea's facebook where he mentioned Disney asked him to remove it:

"Hey guys, some of may notice that the title and thumbnail for today's Movie Talk has been changed. Pretty soon, the video itself will be edited down as well to remove the first topic discussed (it was a Star Wars topic). I just wanted to get on here before any speculation started as to why this is happening.
A few hours after the show posted, Disney contacted me and very respectfully requested that we take the segment out. Please understand Disney has never... in almost 10 years that I've dealt with them... EVER requested that I take anything down (nor have I ever put them in a position where they would feel the need to ask). My team and Disney have always had a very good relationship. When I talk mad shit about Agents of Shield, they have never asked me to "tone it down" or "please say something nice". They have always respected our editorial integrity. So when they politely called me and requested we take a topic down today I decided to grant the request. It wasn't an urgent story that fans "had a right to know" or anything important. I didn't feel that removing the topic was somehow a "disservice to the fans", or was in any way "important to the community". So I felt ok about pulling it.
It's important to know that the studios don't have any editorial influence over us, and Disney fully agrees with that. However, just because someone isn't your boss, doesn't mean you can't do something for them if they make a request. Today, Disney made a respectful request, and out of respect we obliged.
So that's it. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, I'll answer what I can. Cheers!"
And the video in question:

I have no clue what you are talking about.
At the end of the day, I think Muun's have a horrible design and look stupid. By contrast, I like the design of Yoda's species. It's that simple.
It has nothing to do with them being "odd" or not.
