Not necessarily. You can have great scenes that were cut either for time or because the film works better without them.

The early buzz for Jungle Book is very positive.Think Jon Favreau would do a great job with a Star Wars film. He's a big fan as well. Voiced Pre-Vizsla in TCW.
Cowboys and Aliens… Keep him away. Far far away.

I wouldn't be surprised if we saw Kylo kill Snoke and take his place. Heck, I'd love to see that.
I'm also hoping for a new badass Sith in the same vein as Darth Maul. Hell, bring back Maul. He should still be alive, and he would rock the hell out of the existing Jedi with the exception of Luke probably.

Iron Man 1 though. I feel people underestimate the contribution he made to the MCU. He basically Kickstarted the whole thing and created its most popular character with that film. Possibly created the tone for the whole MCU as well.
But then there was IM2.. So I'll admit he's not got a perfect record. But I think when he nails it, he really nails it!

just not a fan of excessive recycling.
Bringing back an older character with a new story isn't really recycling, and Maul is one of the only surviving older Sith. He should be quite the force by now. I'd love to see what he's been up to, and I doubt he's just been sitting around like Luke.

Or they could create a new villain. Preferably one who has a personality and does things besides stare menacingly and twirl a lightsaber fast.

Originally posted by ares834I see a prime opportunity to flesh him out into something horrific there, and villains so far with the exception of Vader and a few lesser ones like Maul have been meh, so bringing in Maul as an older and more insidious villain has potential. A lot can change in the many decades that have passed since The Phantom Menace.

I'm all for a new villain too though, if they actually make him/her a good one.
