He withstood Sidious' FL in the process. Like a boss.

Vader would move faster if he needed to. But with said armor, he doesn't need to.

The fl despite it not directly being fired at him would have killed him. Luke took it much longer and walked away without even a headache.

He can't. His movement speed is bad. Luke hurt him in ESB despite not even being fully trained. Vader is great with a saber but slow. The way it is.

😂

Keep trying. Vader kicks Kanan’s ass and Kanan has kicked Maul’s.

He was. He didn't pop right up. Neither are dead. You can't take it that Kanan embarrassed Vader. Vader got worked. Failed to kill Ezra a kid. Weak.

😂

😂

Keep trying.

What I said was true. You k ow it. Force push. Kanan beat him. Quit being a hypocrite.

😂

Trailer was ok. Forest Whitaker is going to knock this out of the park

It was far better than any Batman v. Superman trailer.

The OT is old, yes, but Vader was always meant to be superior to Maul or Dooku.

Yep

James Cameron had pretty much my take on TFA. That it lacked the imagination of Lucas's Star Wars films, but he's looking forward to seeing where the new characters go:

But on the other hand he did say Genisys was a great movie.

I actually said when that clip of him praising it was released, that what people say post the film being out for a while is very different to what they say pre-release as it might be a part of the film's marketing.

Yeah, but his avatar film was so imaginative and wonderful. Go to hell. You ignored his opinion when I posted about it for the Genisys film. You pick and choose to suit your cherry picking agenda. You're a troll.

Seeing as how James Cameron is responsible for the most overhyped and shit movie of all time; Avatar, I really don't care what he has to say.

Avatar was immensely creative. The visuals were striking and imaginative and it was stepping into another world. The script wasn't so creative, but Avatar was a faantastic theater experience. The hate for it is too much imo, it's meant to be a visual feast

It was not original at all. It was cgi heavy which I have no problem with but he's getting behind a guy who really didn't create something insanely creative or original. I don't hate it by any stretch but have no passion for the first film. I am glad when Sci Fi movies do well and am hopeful the sequels eclipse the original.

Avatar was an insult to the collective intelligence.

Not original? Avatar created new filmmaking technologies and revolutionized CGI.

While there's no question Force Awakens is a superior movie to the prequels, I would argue that it's less original. The prequels were visual masterpieces for the late 90s and early 2000s and really contributed to the development of CGI technology and to the filmmaking future. Force Awakens was an emotional and beautiful rehash of what came before, but didn't push any boundaries.

Fancy cgi I don't seem original from a storytelling perspective.

That's your opinion because I still see ROts as the best Star Wars film to date.

Prequels were more original from a storytelling perspective which is why I have issue with his avatar film and this coming from him.

Couldn't they of made a visual feast without taking the plot from Pocahontas and merely swapping out indians for blue aliens?

Maybe the movie would get less hate if it came out in the year 2000 as opposed to 2009. See because in 2000 we weren't really over our phase of being massively impressed by CGI despite the quality of the actual story.

Cameron is just pissed the Force Awakens is the number 1 film ever in the USA.

Just because the story was simple doesn't mean it was bad. Storytelling is cyclical and borrows from itself, everything is inspired by something. I found it engaging and exciting enough and the characters compelling. Hating on avatar is the newest cool thing just because it's a critics darling with noticible flaws
