Not once in that clip does Superman throw a punch or kick at superspeed, in fact the only time he moves faster than human level is when he's charging her and that was his flight speed.
Then you're ****ing blind, and no one can help you, lol.

Hint: How fast does your fist need to be moving when you throw a punch before colliding with the person you're bum-rushing at super speed?

I see him flying with decent speeds but nothing as fast as you were claiming:
Lol orly?

How fast do you think you need to be to actually leave orbit in a few moments?

Hurr durr nah, dat's travel speed, not combat speed :zaru

I was asking for examples of him flying at super speeds zig zagging through buildings. You provided examples of him zig zagging through builldings at decent speeds, and examples of him flying at high speeds through clear space.

So tell me, where exactly does it show that he has some sort of super fast thought processing?

Superman was able to reverse Zod's grapple while flying through space despite moving at speeds hundreds of times faster than sound.

Super fast thought processing.

Stop this.

Yeah, he was able to reverse the grapple that wasn't done in super speed. Flying in a straight line doesn't need super fast though process. Stop making things up.

You're an idiot. 👆

Anyway, Zod and Superman were creating localized sonic booms by just punching and swinging.

That's easily hypersonic combat speed.

I thought the booms were from the contact not the actual swing?

Zod's missed swing created a boom too.

I'm watching all these movies over the holiday again

And the both of them teleport back to the battlefield. sneer

Just because they have the ability, doesn't mean they can.

I can drive, but drop my car and I in the middle of the Sahara and I wouldn't have a clue of how to get back.

Also, if you can punch at the level these guys are punching, surely that qualifies as superspeed fighting?

Has anyone here ever tried swinging a really powerful punch.....slowly? Answer is, no, because you can't. To punch at these guys' level (through buildings etc) your fist will be moving at pretty decent speeds.

Yes and no. A haymaker is a very powerful blow, but it is very slow and cumbersome. A jab on the other hand is the fastest known punch to man, but it is not exactly a strong punch.

Velocity does have a big effect on the power of your punch, but force behind the punch is a bigger factor. Bigger, heavier people are usually able to deliver stronger punches than smaller people. Not because they punch faster, but because they put more weight (and thus force) behind their punch.

If we went with the logic that great punching strength = great speed then Hulk and Kurse would also have super speed.

Are you under the impression that Superman and Zod make themselves superhumanly heavy when they punch? Does Superman punching suddenly weigh thousands of tons?

Lol, what a joke.

Hulk does have super speed in most incarnations. 👆

Uuummm, why can't they? Teleportation was a big factor in the show.

How do you lowball that? Interested in how you wave away that.

No one's lowballing anything. I never said that Zod and Superman weren't super strong, just that they never showed super combat speed. So sonic booms form super strong hits isn't out of the question.

I will argue that they wouldn't know how to navigate back.

We KNOW it takes insane amounts of power to teleport to and fro, anyway, between the 9 realms. Asgard, an advanced civilisation 1000s of years ahead of us, could only do it with the Bifrost Bridge, or with a cosmic cube.

Neither of which Peter/Sylar have. You might as well argue Nightcrawler teleports in and out between the 9 realms...
