Weather Wizard was insanely powerful. The amount of water he had to move for that tsunami would have been unbelievably large. Hell, that's a movie Phoenix level feat, if not better. Was also cool to see Barry really also beefing up speedwise and Harrison finally revealing the truth about himself. Think the question about whether Barry or DoFP Quicksilver is faster was answered pretty definitively. Was really sad to see Cisco get killed, but given that Barry is now time travel fast, they can probably save him.

I know people think Barry's speed has been pretty inconsistent and that is true but since he fought Blackout he has been consistently faster.
Spoiler:Anyways there is a certain amount of CIS/PIS when fighting the rouges for sure but that is the same in the comics. Imo you're right he is much faster then DOFP Quicksilver at this point.
I though the lightening bolt dodge was sweet but then he broke the time barrier lol.

The last few episodes were getting a little too cheesy - it was good to see a slightly more serious episode for a change. While making future crossovers with Arrow more problematic, as Barry is starting to move pretty far above Ollie's league (he he), it also means that we get to see some really cool abilities, like dodging lightning, creating a giant wall of wind and of course, that ability whose name we won't mention.
I am sure we will return to the fun and cheese soon enough, but personally I liked this slightly more intense episode with somewhat more serious encounters.

That would be truly shocking if they don't change it. I like the character but I'm all for truly shocking deaths (not to the extent Game of Thrones takes it, but the odd one now and then would be great). But won't happen on this show.

Unfortunately most people are saying "Flash who?" because this show is on the CW (struggles to get 4mill Viewers), whilst Quicksilver is getting big exposure in 2 different blockbuster movie franchises.

With Flash it's been pretty formulaic so far - a nice show for all ages, but apart from the last episode no real edge-of-the-seat stuff. I like my shows darker and grittier for the most part. I am a mature adult (mostly) and I prefer shows with more adult content. I find the cheese factor in Flash a bit too... well, cheesy, sometimes.

Because the characters (aside from the main dude) are boring and because the main story has so far been even more boring then the characters.
Also, mature=\=better. I get it, it's a taste preference but I'm just as happy with a good cheesy show as a good "mature" one.
