I really have no interest in anything with Supergirl.

Why do you guys want her to be part of a crossover?

Its less about wanting a Supergirl crossover and more about CBS having a backdoor to access if their superhero show flops.

There might also be a slim chance that CW gets to do Despero if it happens too.

You're all about that backdoor access.

That I am, thought AHS usually fulfills my needs.

i love this show!! they have the first season of the flash at target for 10 bucks so im going to go pick it up!!

You are an exceedingly bad spam marketer.

Plus the entire first season of Flash is on Netflix. Less then 10 bucks a month and you get a whole lot more then just the Flash show.

Ok, so i just started watching the, Flash. I recently finished episode 17, in episode 15 the Flash travels back in time revealing that it was in fact himself that he saw when running to the morgue. What happened to the other, Flash in this time? Is this ever addressed later in the series? Why aren't there two, Barry Alans'?

Why would there be 2?

Why wouldn't there be two? If i traveled back in time one week ago, i would be able to go talk to myself. didn't Doc Brown cover all of this in, Back to the future? When Barry from the future proceeded to go to the morgue he should have ran into the Barry from that timeline.

There are differing theories on how time travel works. Doc Brown isn't the be all end all baron of time travel. In some mediums, you replace your past self when you travel to the past. In some you meet your past self and hang out. In some you can't even interact with your past self without causing a potential reality ending time paradox.

I don't remember that episode all too well, but considering the Flash that went back was Flash from decades in the future, he can probably go through time willy nilly, so once he tried and failed to stop Thawne, he went back to the future or something.

Yeah, i could get down with that but it still doesn't explain why he saw himself running along side himself or why was able to occupy the same timeline with his younger childhood self.

No.

Why? He ran past himself from that timeline so there was obviously two of them in the same timeline.

They've stated on screen that there's an infinite number of alternate universes/realities.

Is it so far fetched to believe that Flash's version of time travel allows multiple Flashes from 3 very different times(child, young adult, like 10 years past that) to exist at the same time? Dopplegangers from different dimensions exist in the same place. Besides it seems pretty clear that all of that was destined to happen, and he had to go back in time both times anyway, so the timestream wouldn't be effected.

i hope this rumored Supergirl crossover is a lie.

It's a plot hole. Just go with the Dr. Who explanation of time travel, accept that it's going to be horribly inconsistent and just enjoy the ride.
