The Flash

Since they stopped with the stupid setup and execution of Flashpoint (which even then had minimal changes assuming Barry doesn't change something again), the show has become more tolerable for me again, but at the same time, yeah, it's underwhelming now, with the villain of the week ploy.

I actually like the show a little more then last season, true its become slightly more predictable but some of the post-Flashpoint character changes work for me. The last two episodes have been better than Agents of Shield for me at least

So Barry's gone 4 episodes consecutively without jobbing or making any drastic changes that mess things up. This is getting worrisome now as this isn't normal but hey Mirror Master was pretty cool to see and Caitlin's becoming (not)Killer Frost? Hope the show doesn't treat this idea like Arrow did Speedy/Arsenal.

what reason would Caitlin have for becoming evil? also, why is she hiding her powers?

Yeah, after the massive moment of stupidity that was the end of season 3/creation of Flashpoint, he's done a pretty good job of not screwing up further while trying to put things back together. And to be fair, the jobbing in combat did already decrease overall in season 2 (admittedly, he did still have a few bad moments). He did defeat like a 100 metahumans at once towards the end of season 2, which is probably still his most impressive combat feat to date (with the exception of besting the two other main speedsters).

Probably going to be the same dumb reason Cisco initially hid his. Their counterparts were evil so they're afraid their powers will somehow make them evil as well.

Forgot to comment on it earlier, but still kinda sad to see Snart back to being a small-time character on here after Legends, though did like how he got to Mirror Master. Hopefully something more interesting can come of him. Even if he went back to his old ways as a thief it wouldn't be the same since he no longer has Rory.

So the Flash team got the wrong Wells: though its weird nobody asked to bring his partner along.

Wonder where the show is going with Caitlyn seeing as it appears she had her powers long before Dr.Alchemy came along.

Another great episode.

Caitlyn was prolly the main thing that kept my interest this episode. The new Wells is a try-hard quack, though nice to see the actor having such range, given the different roles he's had on this show.

Glad they're finally back to Wally getting powers next ep.

More she use power more she like it.

HW or whatever he is called is not needed..

Blah Blah Blah, say something good for once.

I'm just glad to see that the notion of Caitlin's powers making her evil actually has some merit, and that it wasn't just a Cisco repeat. Like her mother said, she is changing in ways they did not understand, so it's perfectly plausible for them to say that the abilities are screwing with her brain chemistry and causing a personality shift.

I believe Caitlyn did say that she first experience her powers months before Dr.Alchemy came into the picture so I'm wondering if pre-Flashpoint Caitlyn would also have these issues.

possible

lol

Ah....Team Flash messing things up. Four consecutive episodes of the team being competent and Barry not jobbing this entire season had me worried there was something going on to make the show go full CW.

Savitar looked pretty neat too. Oh and Iris knocking Wally puts her at Lyla tier for the week.

I was pretty impressed with him. The dude was so fast that no one else could even register him, and Barry could only perceive him as a flash the way everyone else seems to perceive the Flash. That was a cool entrance, and also means Flash should be getting some pretty big speed upgrades by the end of the season

I do wonder what they plan on doing with Wally now. Assuming he does get (and keep) his speed, I wonder if he will become Barry's sidekick.

What happened to Doctor Alchemy?
