Thor vs. Avengers Hulk Rematch

Why do you stupid morons even respond to him?

Stop feeding the most obvious troll on the site, lol.

Hulk and Wolverine fanboys are some of the worst people to debate with. The only people more blind than they are are the Batman fanboys.

Actually it's more than likely because Thor was shown to be the most powerful of the Avengers, basically quan is trying his best to downplay all of Thor's feats so that he'll have an easier time defending Thanos when he finally shows up.

So you're chickening out of our Gabriel vs. Kratos battlezone this summer. Unbelievable.

Hulk was definitely the most powerful on the Avengers. Thor is the two man.

I no rite. God forbid they think certain characters can defeat your boy toy...

🙄

Let's not pretend Thor fanboys are somehow immune to bias.

Actors aren't the most knowledgeable when it comes to their own characters. They just read the lines and look good.

I didn't claim the actors know all. I was responding to Quanchi saying it's obvious from the film that Hulk wins. All I'm saying was if it was that obvious then the actors would see that too.

It's not bias to say that the more skilled and faster fighter has the edge, especially when sed fighter also has ranged attacks and can fly.

Most people here are not Thor fanboys though. We're just calling the movie as we see it. I argue against Thor when I believe the opponent is better (like MOS Superman).

We see Hulk clearly have the advantage in the fight and it turning more in the Hulk's favor as the fight continued.

Chris Evans failed to see that. Oh and I completely missed that the 10 times I saw the movie too.

Maybe you need to watch it again. We see Thor duck and get out of the way. Hulk just tanks the gunfire. Hulk is a physical beast unlike Thor.

It only turned once and then Hulk landed two hits. How does that equate to Hulk "clearly having the advantage in the fight"?

He clearly had the advantage at that moment, I'll give you that.

It's still possible Hulk was restraining himself. That aspect of inner ambivalence, where Banner is fighting with Hulk internally. It's possible Hulk was restraining himself subtly. It's also possible that Hulk becomes incredibly angrier and therefore stronger after thinking Betty Ross was murdered by Thor.

But these are all assumptions based on little evidence. Just like people saying Thor was holding back.

Again, considering "Hulk losing control" was a plot-point and that he was about to murder Natasha, it's a very unlikely that Hulk just happened to calm himself down moments later, so when he punched Thor he wasn't trying to bash the blonde lifeless.

Thor holding back isn't based on "little evidence", we see the AOE damage Thor can do with just a hammer swing and it's safe to say Thor, the self labeled "protector of Earth/humanity", wouldn't attack with something that would have killed everyone on the ship save Iron Man, the Hulk and possibility Captain America.

I used to believe somewhat like you; it was faulty.

When Hulk hit Thor he clearly felt it whereas Thor hitting the Hulk only enraged him. Thor wasn't even close to Hulk in terms of physicality in this film.

Yeah sure. That's why Hulk was shaking his head and was clearly dazed after Thor hit him with mjolnir.

Hulk was fine. Hulk can tank a lot more than Thor. See the Kurse beatdown.

I've seen plenty of Thor fanboys. And merely admitting said character loses against a superior foe does not mean one is not a fanboy. I'm a Superman fanboy but I admit he loses against certain characters after all.

So in your opinion the explosion of the Bifrost bridge (which displaced a massive amount of water) which Thor tanked without a scratch is lesser than the barrage of 20-odd Chitauri speeders which clearly hurt the Hulk and made him bleed?

You're an odd little man.

That didn't really hurt the Hulk. That just stopped his progress for a time. We see him later and he's fine. He manhandles Loki in a manner that even Thor would be jealous over.
