Itachi is faster than any MKG but Mecha have crazy range. Anything from Itachi other than moving several hundred meters in split seconds and attacking from pretty long range would mean he's crushed.
In any case, Godzilla characters don't have the kind of superspeed to hang with most anime characters.
Speed equalized means that Itachi is murdered though 😈

Are you high? Itachi's Susano'o tanked the combination of an entire thunderstorm concentrated into a single point, as well as the combination of the equivalent of three biju bombs going of simultaneously, without even feeling it either time.
Even with speed equalized, Itachi uses Susano'o and shoots amaterasu once, and boom, it's over.
MG's guns wouldn't even scratch the yata mirror.

itachi is basically immobile in susano meaning godzila's class 100 punches shatter it, since a punch from a kaiju would be able to shatter as big or larger area than kirin did.
more importantly, amaterasu is useless as it cant burn fast enough or over a wide enough area without help (sasuke using narutos fuuton ninjutsu to spread his ammy farther) nor can he maintain ammy or susano for long, the way sasuke can.

Itachi can mantain Amaterasu indefinitely. All he needs to do is shoot MG once, and he's done. The flames never extinguish until their target is burnt to ashes. MG is made of steel, iirc, and Amaterasu has vaporized even harder materials before casually.

mechagodzilla is of a steel that casually handles atomic breath multiple times (which is city busting BTW) and physical hits from other kaijus in the hundreds of tons range.
amaterasu is not good enough featwise to burn this. it could have several years to burn and it wouldnt get very far.
the toughest thing its burnt is some stupid stomach wall of a toad.
the whole "burns forever" thing is hyperbole. otherwise the flames left over from when itachi used it vs sasuke apparently burnt right trhough the earth given enough time. yeah you dont believe that.

How do you seal a house? It's not as if Mechagodzilla wasn't a robot. The fire would take a lot of time to consume MKG, he's huge and can simply detach the members affected by the fire (he has survived headless). I already mentioned that Itachi should win unless speed is equalized, no point in throwing the speed out there. Also the comparison with Vegeta is misinformed, Itachi has no such destructive power, he has more versatility than anything else.
Even if Susaano can resist MKG's barrage of attacks for a while he won't be uttering a single explosion but sustained beams/misiles through several minutes, weapons that can hurt Godzilla who is pretty damn invulnerable. All this (acording to you) while having an active Amaterasu to burn a huge robot.
For whatever reason you think every battle is easy for Itachi. This is not the case. Maybe he can pull a win here but it would leave him chakraless and half dead.
