Your math is off but your conclusion is probably correct.
It is 111,643.71 feet per second.
Mach 100 = 76,120.71 mph = 40,1917,348.8 feet per hour (5280ft*76,120.71mph = 111,643.708 feet per second (40,1917,348.8 feet per hour/3600 seconds (3600 seconds in an hour)).

so about 14 miles per second if he flies at mach 100. Yeah I don't know if he was moving that fast. Its hard to judge how long it took him and Zod to hit that satellite in MOS. Considering satellites are between 100 to many thousands of feet above earth makes it even more ambiguous.
Well, this is generally fairly easy to guesstimate. They cannot orbit too far out or they will lose the protection that the Van Allen Radiation Belt offers.
About tree-fiddy (350 miles) on the mileage would be a safe estimate.
Since I do not have access to the movie, at the moment, can you use that number to come up with an average velocity for them? Just time how long it took them to fly up to the satellite (if there are no obvious cuts that make it seem like there was a time jump) and use 350 miles as your denominator to come up with the average velocity.

There was a cut, but thing thing is: Based on Kal's first flight scene he seemed capable of reaching low Earth orbit in a second or two, so the cut may have had no real effect on lapsed time. I think this debate about Shaw being too slow to react to the beginning of the fight is misguided, however. Is Kal very hyper-sonic? Yes. However we never see him go from a dead stop to Mach 70 in less than a second. In the end scene where he flies away from the general it takes him about 1 second just to go supersonic. I doubt Shaw is being one-shotted with a punch at the start of the duel, especially when both combatants know they are fighting.
Kal wins by clamping his hands over Shaw's mouth and nose and suffocates him. I think he could slowly break his neck as well.
I was thinking about this whole idea of Shaw being immovable, etc. When he was fighting Magneto, and Mr. Magnetism was trying to push a metal beam at him, Shaw walked toward Magneto and easily pushed the beam back. He could not do that with normal strength walking upright like that. He feet would tear into the floor long before he could push the beam back.....what I am suggesting is that Shaw is not only unmovable, but he straight-up has JUGGERNAUT's powers of MOMENTUM. It's true.
It would be funny to see him being run over. When he absorbed a grenade, his hands got bigger and he gained a few extra fingers. When he was draining the nuke, his head almost split into 2 halves, each extra large. Could you imagine how distorted he would be stretched out when Juggernaut flattened him out. It turns me on just thinking about it.

Hm. Sure I'll do it a little later. Latest by tomorrow. Should be interesting for shits n giggles. And just realized I said 100 to many thousands of FEET.
I meant miles. dur.
